BTW,  I work for the government with a security force that carries Sig P226 and our sister organization carries Glocks.  I’ve personally seen more failures with Glocks and virtually none with the Sigs.

You hit the nail on the head.  And,  now,  a few years later,  the Army did NOT adopt Glocks,  and,  SOCOM is issuing the HK45 Compact.  The marines have clarified that they approved their soldiers to carry Glock 19s,  not made it an issue sidearm.
