It’s also easy to throw us off. A new haircut or a change of clothes can make people look like a whole new person. Superman’s Clark Kent disguise would totally work on me, is what I’m saying.

I have face-blindness and it isn’t the life-shattering impediment it sounds like it would be. Most people don’t even realize they have it. They think they’re just really bad at names. As a previous poster indicated, you learn to recognize voices and use context and location to figure out who’s who, and you kind of…
“It’s Gayle’s boobs and butt all over again!”
I love that Teddy somehow ended up getting roped into that one, too.
Are we SURE these are uncertain times?
Looking at the years for all of these movies, there were a LOT more movies from 2011 and before than after. Who knew the Mayans were predicting the end of comedy?
Gotta step in and defend FF III. That job system is pure-dopamine and one of the greatest concepts to be brought to the series. Not the best EXECUTION of the concept (That would be FFV) but FF III is an important and endlessly playable game. Story’s not great but Square waited one more game to show us that JRPGs could…
At some point, someone in this comment section needs to bring up Mystic Quest, and I’m up to the job.
I don’t hate Mystic Quest, although I wouldn’t blame people for putting it on their personal “Worst” list. It’s probably “Weirdest” to me. The whole idea of, “The USA doesn’t get us! Let’s make them a game-spanning…
Not really a game, though.
I wonder if current events is gong to impact how we use the term "viral."
More than that, it had to BECOME fun. The first couple seasons had their moments but were pretty meh. Then at some point it decided to stop trying to be topical and just be a show about a control freak with access to sci-fi CIA technology and something magical happened.
Aww, I like Silvestri's Avengers scores. But I'm a sucker for a Silvestri score.
Yeah, not to seem prudish, but naked teen asses isn’t exactly what I want to see prominently displayed on the front page when I’m looking for the latest Wiki Wormhole. (Wherever it is!)
It’s kind of amazing how Bob’s Burgers has (at least in my opinion) managed to keep Teddy juuuuust on the loveable side of “loveable loser.” He's a character that could go horribly wrong, but something about his attitude and Larry Murphy's wonderful voice work make it funny instead of sad.
Huh. I always read Luka as being about spousal abuse. Never considered that Luka is a child.
Celebrities get bored out of their minds and do stupid stuff to pass the time, too! They're just like us!
So we’re just ignoring one of the most prominent sci-fi games that was influenced by the first Alien?
Hulu: We were going to start setting them tomorrow, but we thought people might be bored staying inside!
The MST3K and Rifftrax channels on Pluto TV and Twitch never ever get old. There’s something comforting about them, and I don’t have to commit to watching whatever’s on. I can just have it on in the background while I try out the DLC Side Story in Fire Emblem, or plug away at a nonogram from one of my trusty puzzle…
Really, though, this says a lot about the Y2K box office. X-Men was good and I liked Titan AE and Chicken Run, but it wasn’t a very fruitful year for the box office. It took 20 years and a horrible virus to do the damage of one Battlefield Earth.
I like that Linda’s St. Patrick’s Day craziness ended up paying off. Green burgers should absolutely be a failure, and the early seasons would have had them be a huge financial bust, Linda’s so earnest in the way she knows things are supposed to be, it’s nice to see that rewarded now and then. Really, that’s kind of…
