“Ha, my wife could use one of these around the house!”

Breaking Bad Reboot Cancelled After One Episode

Ah, one of the relics of Disney’s disastrous “Fuck You, Children!” era.

Excuse me, is that punch WiFi enabled?

Well he did glare in North Korea’s direction that one time.

Hats off to their resiliency. I’m so jaded with their bad luck over the years that I fully expect Gizmoplex to get a new chief executive who immediately cancels them.

If you have access to the HBO doc series about it, she plays a pretty big role in it, and yes she’s ok.

To my thinking, they could’ve kept the black suit in, then had Spidey contend with Sandman and Osbourne the whole movie, using the suit to defeat them at the end, then becoming Venom as a cliffhanger into a fourth movie.

Settling in for what should be a slam dunk of a third film after two great preceding films, then getting that sinking feeling while watching it, “Wait, this sucks? How!?”. Ugh, I’ve had it too many times. And right off the bat, retconning Uncle Ben’s death, you know it’s coming.

“I’d leave us to freeze, too! We DESERVE it!”

Provoking an insurrection against one’s own country is EXHAUSTING.

Texas had literally a once in a generation politician in Beto O’Rourke running against Cruz. A singularly charismatic, dynamic, passionately and unapologetically progressive figure who energized the base, sent new voter registration through the roof, and drew national attention to the contest. AND HE STILL FUCKING

Sam and Diane on Cheers set the template for heinous sitcom breakups, going all the way to, yes, Ross and Rachel. There’s stuff in there that’s definitely Not OK by today’s standards, but it’s so raw and gutting. Plus that end.

To add: they’re doing all this for someone who also inevitably betrays anyone who works for him, no matter how loyal.  Ask Pence and Brian Kemp how far their loyalties got them. If Trump or any of his hellspring are running again in ‘24, how welcoming will they be of any of these same senators also in the primary?

Nonsense! Pics of him enjoying a NY slice at that venerable Big Apple Institution, Sbarro’s, will endear him to the common clay!

I cannot believe FOTR is 20 this year.

When we re-watch this trilogy every year at Christmas, i always try to watch the endings with a critical eye and see which one could be cut. But every separate element of those endings tells an essential detail: you get to see the Fellowship reunited in Rivendell, and Frodo gets to see Gandalf alive for the first time

“Catastrophic” is a really good descriptor. I’m just endlessly fascinated with that drawing, how many people must’ve seen it before it went to press, and yet none of them was able to stop it from being seen by the public.

It played out like the “Otisburg?” scene in Superman.

It’s such a pure, unadulterated blast of 1999 right in your face. It just perfectly crystallizes that joyous energy that was in the air back then of “2000 here we come!”. Even now, having lived through what was to come, I still get caught up in it.
