I just don’t find this era of Star Wars compelling at all. “Like the Rebels vs. the Empire, only not the rebels and not the empire!” Even while I really liked TLJ, I keep coming back to being disinterested in the overall arc.

Yeah, that plane rescue sequence is still thrilling. Superman just flying through debris, instead of dodging it, was a nice touch. I suspect the passion came earlier in their relationship, before the show started. The thing I like is how they have the comfort of two people who’ve intertwined with each other for a long time.
