That cabinet was the coolest game I’d ever seen at the time, but I don’t think I ever made it through the first death because the game had no instructions on how to play the stupid thing.

I remember. You were a coyboy and real life actors were used. Very faint memories of that.

You were paying to use your mutant power, but you didn’t know that

There was also a terrible fighting game:

Yep, it was front and center at the Tilt inside my hometown mall. I don’t remember actually playing it though.

This is what they are referring to. It used the mirror bowl trick to pretend to be a hologram.

Yes absolutely. Such bull crap. You know what else was bull crap? Mutant power and health being the same bar in xmen. Quarter sucking recipe

Did you play as a time-traveling cowboy? I remember that! I only saw it once, but I bummed some change off my mom and played it for a little bit. I remember very little other than it being a thing I experienced, and that it was a SEGA game when that meant something good.

Yep! With that cowboy!

Yeah, that was published by Sega. I think there were two different games using that technology but the one I played was Time Traveller. Galloping Ghost Arcade near Chicago has a working on one the floor (at least the last time I was there).

I hope you’ll love Snow Falling! We did try to parallel the show, but also give readers lots of new content and of course, the happily ever after that Jane didn’t get with Michael.

Last night, I had a nightmare that Nintendo had made Super Mario Odyssey into a “map game” like Assassin’s Creed or Dragon Age: Inquisition. I had Mario chasing after markers on his radar, which led him to tedious micro-challenges. “I wanted an open-world Mario game,” I thought to myself, “but not like this!”

I just watched it for the first time over the weekend. Unbelievably weird, both in content and style, and a ton of fun.

If Evil Dead 2 was reincarnated and directed by Tim and Eric on shrooms in Japan it would still only be half as bonkers as Hausu!

I had been putting off seeing it for years and finally took the plunge a couple years ago, and I can’t say that I was expecting it to be even half as bizarre as it was, and I watch a lot of weird old movies. You definitely need to see it.

I haven’t caught up from last week, but I like it.

I’ll admit at first I kinda had a bit of trouble with how dirty it was but like everyone else has been saying there is a charm and sweetness to it that really won me over.

It actually is kind of sweet if you can make through to the end of the episodes. They’re cartoon characters so I’m not too wrapped up with the morality of depicting minors engaged in sexual conversation and self exploration and I’m fine with sexual innuendo humor but here, the innuendo is first implied then

On it’s surface, it can be a little alarming at first. But it actually handles the stuff responsibly. It’s dirty as hell and very funny.
