There’s an actually pretty decent RPG for the Super Famicom called Sailor Moon: Another Story. The game is pretty grindy, as most RPGs from that era are, but if one doesn’t mind that, it’s pretty easy to find a fan translation of it.

For me, it’s the episode Sailor Saturn finally shows up, near the end of Sailor Moon S. She was the last remaining “planet” who hadn’t shown up yet, and the build up to her arrival was immense. She showed up so briefly that I’ve heard some describe it as a let down, but for me, it was a testament to how, in the story,

This show is a cultural touchstone for me, to the point where I still buy Sailor Moon merchandise as a 36 year old man.

I’m really excited to hear Angel Olsen. All Mirrors is one of my favorite albums of 2019, and it will be interesting to hear songs with such lush, orchestrated and cinematic production stripped back to their essence.

Although I’m a bit older than you and male, I’m also Mexican and gay, so even I related hardcore to Santana’s arc in those first few seasons. Not to mention she was, generally speaking, the funniest character on the show.

Well, in addition to most of this album, as well as most of Dua Lipa’s “Future Nostalgia” album, here are some other tracks that come to mind:

Yeeeees, Jessie Ware really delivered with this new album! <3 I must say, with all of the recent revival of house, disco, and funk in the pop music scene (which I love), Jessie’s so far is the one that sounds the most like it could’ve actually come out in the late 70s. The instrumentation, background vocals, chord

Ugh, this show continues to warm my heart even after it’s ended.

The part I always think about this movie is the interview in the street with two preteen boys who are out in the middle of the night, explaining they have no families or homes. I’m assuming the two boys are LGBT, although they never explicitly say so. Really drives home the concept of “chosen family” and the way this

I don’t get it, y’all. 13 songs (leaving off the interludes), and not a single hook to be found among them.

Thanks, great to see you too! Yeah, I’ve been kinda lurking lately. Haven’t played many new games other than FFVII Remake, so I don’t have much to contribute. But I’m still here, hello all!

Haha, agreed! My goodness, Kumail is one beautiful beautiful man. <3 Issa Rae is obviously gorgeous as well, it’s just a orientation issue there. Plus both of them are hilarious and charming.

I love the music for Super Metroid’s attract screen. It’s a remix/update of the same thing from Metroid 1, but the creepiness factor is dialed up to 11. Especially with that sound effect that sounds like steam being released, or something breathing.

Heidi is such a sweetheart, and then that Untucked happened and she cemented herself as the front runner for Miss Congeniality this season. <3

There’s also The Weeknd from last Friday, another strong contender for Album of the Year if you ask me.

I’m personally all here for the new Dua Lipa album. This slick Euro-disco vibe brings up all the best memories of Kylie Minogue, Robyn, etc. The title Future Nostalgia is very fitting.

Jealous of pretty much every piece of clothing David wears. I love that his taste seems to come from Moira, seeing as how much she loves monochromatic clothes as well (and one throwaway gag about Moira borrowing some of David’s clothes).

I’ve been wearing a mustache for a couple of years now, and I must say I have never gotten as much attention before as I am now. I agree with your descriptor of them as “pervy,” I continually tell people the aesthetic I’m going for is “pervy uncle from a 70's/80's movie”

I checked this series out to see if all of the controversy was well-founded or not. The fat suit was in poor taste, but overall I didn’t find it to be offensive. I did find it to be incredibly boring. Seemed like it really wanted to be a clever dark comedy, but all of the “mean” punchlines were such softballs.

I’m waiting for Iyla to blow up. She’s gorgeous, has a silky-smooth voice, her videos always have sharp, crisp, and beautiful visuals, the songs are solid, old school R&B.
