Also, Rahim must be protected at all costs.

This show is like an R-rated Bob’s Burgers, in that all of the characters are such weirdos, but they’re not painted as the butt of the joke because of it. Season 2 was fantastic, glad to hear we’ll get more of it.

A skunk on the top bunk

You think so? This episode actually reminds me of what Cuddlywhiskers said to Diane and Bojack, paraphrasing “It’s only when you give up everything can you truly start to be happy.” So many of BoJack’s selfish, destructive behavior stemmed from his need to be loved and adored and hide all of the unsavory and terrible

Yes, plus the line where she talks about it was “A song you taught me when I was small” was chilling as well, being a callback to what he tells little Sarah Lynn way back in season 1.

Also, “Hollywoob” is freaking hilarious. I wanna know if the writers actually planned some of these long-term payoffs in advance, or if they were really clever enough to just make it up on the spot, because this is just one example of so so many of them.

I guess I want to understand the people who say episode 15 should have been the finale. I get it from a narrative standpoint. Certainly, with all the foreshadowing, it would have made tremendous sense. But when I think about the creators of this show and how so much of the audience relates to it because of its

Yeah, the way she said “BoJack...it doesn’t matter” was haunting.

So this episode pretty much legitimately disturbed me. I never thought anything would top “Time’s Arrow” in that department, but here we are. Will Arnett deserves all the awards just for his reading of Butterscotchretariat’s poem alone.

Oof. I remember way back in the Telescope thinking how intimidating Angela Diaz was and how terrifying her talk to BoJack was, so to learn it was all a bluff is...this show really knows how to set up a long run plot point (as well as a long run gag).

I actually really liked the Diane plot this episode. The scene where she and Sonny talk about her novel was hilarious and sweet. Diane is someone who has demonstrated time and again that she doesn’t trust the good things she has accomplished, and this little scene served to reassure her that she actually is helping

Yep, you’re absolutely right. As is Les when he says it’s not Hollyhock’s personality to confront him and demand answers.

Watching Hollyhock keep BoJack at arm’s length was difficult. Much of the tension this episode was me just wishing she’d outright tell him she knows what happened in New Mexico so he can at least acknowledge it and they can talk about it. Nothing can erase the things BoJack did in the past, but I hope he continues to

You’re right, but it sadly works against the show, at least as far as people actually watching it. It’s still kind of hard to get any of my friends to stick with this show in spite of its near universal acclaim. It’s just those first 6 episodes. I actually like those episodes, but they are so wildly different in tone,

Gosh it’s so hard to choose with this show. The writers clearly care about their characters, and it shows when each main character has several excellent episodes centered on them.

Since this is the first New Releases we’ve had in a few weeks, anyone like the new Poppy album that came out a few weeks ago? It’s the pop/metal/alt-rock blend I never knew I needed, but I love it.

Yeah, I agree, I’m getting a lot of alt-drag looks from this reveal. Not complaining, but it is interesting.

SAME, I loved season 1 except for this plot. The homophobic bully who’s secretly gay is such an overused, cliche trope. How about homophobic bully is not secretly gay but is just an asshole. Maybe even the homophobic bully grows as a person and comes to not be homophobic by learning empathy and respect for people who

Well, it’s certainly not good for you, you are inhaling a chemical to get a brief high, so if you do it a lot I’m sure there could be long term effects on your health.

Dude should try some poppers.
