Wow, I agree with the number 1 pick! FKA twigs really blew me away with Magdalene, and when I saw her live last months, I must say she blew me away. Definitely one of the best shows I’ve ever seen, maybe top 3.

Baba Is You has to be one of the most unique, not to mention mind melting, gaming experiences I've ever had. I'm gonna have to give that quiet, unassuming little indie puzzle game my GOTY pick.

Oh God, her mannerisms and vocal affect as Alexis are so natural, I was actually taken aback when I heard her real voice the first time. Not to mention that Alexis has my favorite character arc, which is quite a feat since most of the other characters also have had amazing growth.

I mean...but it WAS poundcake and not angel food cake. Take from that what you will.

I’m having a hard time figuring out if you’re talking about a snack cake, or...the cakes of a snack.

Meanwhile, Hostess is taking this opportunity to rebrand and remarket Twinkies. R&D department has suggested new product “Pig Daddy” cakes to package together.

Taking it in stride, huh? What brand of poppers are you using, Sara Lee? @ me

Oh damn, didn’t know this was out today, gonna go listen. “Bottom Bitch” is my jam.

You think so? I think the production there, while not quite as out there as EP2 or M3LL155X, is still rather strange and “alien.”

The production on Magdalene is surprisingly straightforward for FKA Twigs. Seems her focus was creating more atmospheric, slow-burning songs. First impression is good, but it’s the type of album you need to listen to on good speakers in a dark room to really appreciate.

Yeah, I can agree with that. The audience and fanbase of Dark Souls is inherently more niche than that of Skyrim just by the nature of the game.

I mean, they put Undertale, but I agree and I said as much in that thread as well. Some of my favorite games of the last decade have been indie games (Hollow Knight, Hyper Light Drifter, Shovel Knight).

I get your point, and certainly wouldn’t fault anyone for putting Skyrim above Dark Souls, but I also find it hard to fault the reverse either. Think about how cliche the phrase “The Dark Souls of ____ games” has become these days as a game descriptor. I’m not saying Dark Souls is better than Skyrim, but I do think it

Story wise, you’re right, but I can’t be the only one that thought ME3's gameplay was the most polished and fun, right? I was especially hooked on ME3's co-op multiplayer for years and years.

Funnily, I haven’t actually played most of the games on this list. :( Adulthood, or at least my adulthood, came with less free time for games, and since AAA games went the trend of the BMFOTTD as described in the Witcher 3 entry, I’ve tended to rely on smaller games which means I’ve tended to be drawn to indie games

I wonder what the future holds in store for this series, since seasons 1 and 2 essentially retold the events of Castlevania 3. Will season 3 follow Hector and retell the events of Curse of Darkness? The original Castlevania and Simon Belmont? Will the canon Gameboy entries to the series, Castlevania: The Adventure and

Yeah, I figured he was just white hispanic and/or latino, but I was curious if they would ever clarify it. Sounds like they might this season.

I always wondered about Todd’s last name, if he was meant to be latino. He referred to himself as white back in “Our Story is a ‘D’ Story,” but in that same episode he was also courted by the Latin Kings.

Excited to see this story play out and hopefully have a satisfying conclusion. I think it might go down as my favorite TV show of all time. Admittedly, part of the reason for that might be personal since Season 5 and thus “Free Churro” came out one week after my mother died in September 2018; I still watch that

Ah, Selena, so much potential snuffed out in an act of desperation and greed. :(
