I’m chugging along in Rayman: Legends. As of last night, I’ve earned all of the trophies and saved all of the Teensies in each world except for Living Dead Party and the Rayman: Origins paintings, neither of which I’ve even started.

Seriously, all it took was a bare nipple on a juicy pectoral and my interested is piqued. I’m easily manipulated.

I agree. I watched a few episodes a few years ago and cringed at how less funny it was than I remembered. It’s hard for me to imagine the context of society when it came out (I was only a teen at the time), but a lot of the things it presents as so edgy and boundary pushing when it comes to sexuality feel so banal by

Not sure if it really counts, since it’s really more of a hub-world than a safe area, but I still love Princess Peach’s castle from Super Mario 64. So much to explore and see, not to mention establishing the paintings as entrances to the levels made it cooler when you later had the entrances in brick walls, clocks,

It looks to be a Metroidvania, so I’m already sold.

I’m remaining cautiously optimistic for Ritual of the Night, but I really wish they had gone with sprites instead of 3D models. The movement seems so slow in all of the videos I’ve seen so far.

Also, I can’t help but feel like this whole situation sort of feels like an inversion of the Mega Man/Mighty No. 9 debacle, no? Surely, the actual quality of Ritual of the Night remains to be seen, but if it’s as good as Curse of the Moon is, it will be even more sad that the only Castlevania game Konami has on the

Looks perfect, thanks!

Also, I love that many of the bosses have a desperation attack, a last ditch effort to “take you with them” as they’re dying. It actually worked on me more than once in my first playthrough!

Yeah, I picked this up last week, and it’s an absolute delight. I’m already on my third playthrough (each time I’ve beaten it, it’s unlocked a new “mode”). Without spoilers, I will say this solo [REDACTED] playthrough I’m on right now is the most fun playthrough yet. I wish the game was longer than it is, but still,

I’m looking forward to checking this out.

I’ve never played the original Street Fighter, but from what I’ve heard, performing special moves is actually a lot more difficult than in any of the games that came after it. I’m excited to play it whenever I pick up this collection. Not because it looks like a good game or anything (SFII improved upon it pretty much

I really want to get Street Fighter 30th Anniversary collection, but I can’t really justify the purchase at the moment. Especially because I’m still so busy with SFV: Arcade Edition, don’t even have all of the characters bought yet!

Of course we could never get any of the good Sailor Moon games here in the USA, like the Another Story RPG or any of the beat em ups or the fighting games. All we get is this.

Yeah, I have to admit that the whole walk-off followed by the running splits was a messy moment that didn’t pay off. The group I was watching with generally agreed what she SHOULD have done is had a wig reveal to a pussycat wig. That would have been pretty funny.

Both Jujubee and Coco Montrese survived 3 lip synchs in the past.

True

I also think Monet won that lipsynch. Kameron turned it, but her movement was just too jerky and athletic to fit a mid tempo, chill pop song like “Good as Hell.” Lizzo is beautiful and so charming.

Anthony Padilla is a tall drink, am I wrong?

It has such a unique mood. Don’t get me wrong, of course there are plenty of dramedies on TV right now, but Baskets has such certain feeling of both melancholy and warmth. Christine Baskets may be my favorite TV character right now.
