An update on my Witcher 3 playthrough:
I was surprised by this latest album, too. Not really sure why, though, on her last Spanish album, she was suddenly really into merengue. Why not reggaeton as well, then?
I get it. I do miss old-school Shakira sometimes, with those upbeat rock-dance songs and sad ballads with diary-like lyrics. She still releases a kick-ass rock song every now and then. (Check out "Nada" from her new album)
I'm happy to see a Spanish-language song hit this level of success, but why did it have to be this song? :( Hell, Shakira's released like 3 reggaeton singles this year that are much more palatable to my ears.
I'm actually shocked that Miyamoto's favorite food is natto and rice. Now it kind of make sense why Pokey doesn't like it!
This is my favorite Billy Eichner role. The more foul mouthed and dark he can be, the rest of his whole stage persona falls into place.
Laura Palmer's Theme is great, but it's a little overused in the series, particularly in the first season. I always expect every episode to begin with those low synth chords.
I'm disappointed he doesn't sound like Agent Gordon Cole, but with a ridiculous Charles Martinet-as-Super Mario accent.
Speaking of Twin Peaks, Laura Palmer, and music, has it ever been definitively concluded that the scream in "The Hills" by The Weeknd is Laura Palmer's doppleganger's reversed scream from the original series finale? It certainly sounds similar.
It also echoed Maddie's death with the whole head smashed into a picture frame thing.
As a matter of fact, they could: https://media.netflix.com/e…
The Witcher 3 sidequests are fantastic. I really appreciate that they took the time to write little vignettes that actually relate to the main plot and make the world and characters deeper.
Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers. The ending would have been much stronger if Scott had been taught a lesson about being honest
That's a bummer. It's always tough to lose a pet.
Yeah, I was actually blindsided how…final the goodbye with Triss seemed. I thought I would be able to just catch up with her later in some other location in the game.
Steel sword for humans, silver sword for monsters (unless you use hanged man oil), correct? I could swear I was, but hell, maybe that was the problem all along.
It really was strange, because I had no problem dispatching the other soldiers in the village, who were also heavily armored, but the ones that were close to and attacking Ves seemed to be invincible.
This week, in The Witcher 3: Finally tracked down Dandelion, and had a tearful goodbye with Triss. My next big destination is Skellige, but I'm finishing up some loose ends in Velen and Novigrad before I dive into a whole new area.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend seems to be missing here, especially following the whirlwind of a season 2 finale, the best episode of the show to date. Funnily, the show seems set to be what everyone feared the show WOULD be based off the title, but it did two whole seasons of work to show how someone could get to that point.
Heh, hey I'm actually currently with the Witcher 3.
