So, the main character is definitely based off Leslie Rose as Ygritte in Game of Thrones, right? There's no way that she isn't.

This is the game I'll be playing next once I finish up Bioshock Infinite. I've heard nothing but praise, so I have unrealistically high expectations. ;)
There are two episodes of Sailor Moon on youtube reanimated by fans in their own art style. They're really amusing to watch. If you're interested, search "Moon Animate Make-Up"
The combat definitely feels a lot more AAA action-y this time around, which in this case, is not a compliment. Sniping old-timey cops feels pretty weird.
Man, this game seemed to be universally acclaimed when it came out, so it seems kind of weird to see how that sentiment has soured over the years.
Finished up Bioshock 2: Minerva's Den this week. Wow, talk about a piece of DLC outshining the main game. Once I got close enough to the end to piece together what was going on, I had to play the rest of it through eyes welling up with tears (although, I tend to be pretty emotional in general after taking an…
90 Shilling is pretty much my default choice for a decent, inexpensive (from the liquor store that is; restaurants mark it way the fuck up) beer
I just googled it and learned that a remaster is forthcoming in 2017 for PS4. Which…I guess I don't really get what the point of a remaster is for a game with such cartoony art other than the screen resolution? Ah well, if it's cheap enough, I'll probably end up getting it anyway since I have no idea where my PSP copy…
Chrono Trigger or FFIX
I was reading my roommate's copy of Hyrule Historia. It's indeed quite a beautiful book, but it's kind of funny to read it now because of how much it focuses on and hypes Skyward Sword.
Although I haven't played it in quite a while, I used to always love LocoRoco for de-stressing, The colorful, storybook-like art, the goofy gibberish voice acting, and the chirpy, catchy music always put a smile on my face. I wish they would revisit that series again.
The good thing about this "Game in Progress" series is that the review is updated as the reviewer spends more time with the game. By the second or third review, you can tell when the new game excitement has worn off and the real flaws in the game start to show themselves. (See the reviews for Final Fantasy XV to see…
Well, this sounds just great. I guess all that talk about this game being a throwback to the original LoZ weren't just lip-service.The more melancholy Zelda games tend to be the stronger entries in the series, so now my excitement to play this is even higher.
That's a pretty astute way to describe it. Thankfully, the actual set pieces in the game are still pretty great.
I just finished the main campaign of Bioshock 2, so this weekend I'll be checking out the Minerva's Den DLC.
Yeah, I've been meaning to play those too. Capcom did such a tremendous job with Minish Cap as well.
I love it when games do the "Theme and Variations" bit with the music. My earliest memory of noticing something like this was, funnily, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (although, in this case, they're more like remixes rather than the more subtle ways Link's Awakening approaches it). The town music has 3 variations.
Not even in Link Between Worlds? (I haven't played it)
I've been itching to replay this game recently. As much as I love the early Zelda games, this is the first one that had a real personality to it. All of the odd NPCs have become a staple of the series now. Not to mention the melancholic mood that's only matched by Majora's Mask.
The second Abbey told Rafael he needed to shave his beard? I just know she's going to turn out to be a villain now.
