You know, "Titanic without the love story" actually sounds really appealing to me. And I love Gina Rodriguez, so I might just go see it this weekend.
Did anyone watch The Exorcist last Friday? I thought it was surprisingly good. And Alfonso Herrera is ridiculously handsome, I had little hearts for eyes the whole episode. Come for the hot priest, stay for the neck-snapping demons.
Oh, of course. Gameological usually doesn't post a Monday feature, and the one time they do, it's a Let's Playlist and I missed it! A CASTLEVANIA Let's Playlist!
Persona 3 and 4 at least have weak enemies that run away from you.
You know, funnily, stuff like frame rate and resolution are things I don't even notice unless I, uh…unless my senses are heightened. Thank goodness I live in Colorado.
The first time I rented Illusion of Gaia from Blockbuster, I got stuck at The Great Wall of China, because I could not figure out how to do the spinning move you need to do to get over the hills in that area. No real point to to this story other than to see if others experienced the same.
Earthbound's legacy is well earned and deserved, but it IS important to temper acclaim with reality. What you can expect is delightful, colorful visuals, great sense of humor, quirky, funny characters, and memorable locations. What you can't expect is a terribly deep battle system, and refuge from old school RPG…
I never unlocked all the ME3 characters, but I was lucky enough to unlock all of the Volus characters. The Vanguard was the best, dude was basically a glass cannon. He'll ruin his enemies but god help you if you get cornered.
Wow, I had no idea! I'm gonna check out a few reviews, see if this is worth buying
Hey casp, just out of curiosity and unrelated to your post, but did you ever play DA: Inquisition multiplayer after that once you and I tried it out? Heh, I never did. It's a shame it was so lackluster, considering how much I loved Mass Effect 3's multiplayer
Peaceful Rest Valley is the worst! Those damn exploding trees and Lil UFOs!
You know, this game series had so many problems with cheap perspective puzzles, but I loved it anyway. It would be ripe for a reboot, I think, or at least a "spiritual successor" or pastiche. Great fantasy setting, creepy music, emphasis on exploration and physics based puzzles, punctuated with tense nail biting boss…
Maybe this is just me, but the current generation is the first in which I buy the majority of my games digitally rather than physically. This might just be me finally accepting the times, though, as I've also accepted this with music in the last few years and no longer buy CDs (still get vinyl though, for albums I…
Man, I love the boss theme from that game. It's so Frankie Knuckles/early 90s house, it's awesome
As uncomfortable and unpleasant Phi Phi made this episode, I still find it sad that she got so much harassment, enough to retire. Yikes.
By the way, does anyone else really love the tea/coffee breaks in Earthbound? They stick out so vividly to me because of how odd they were. Let's stop playing the game for a good 5 minutes or so to read a scrolling recap of the game's major plot points so far against a psychedelic background with some trip-hoppy BGM.
I don't understand why Ryan Murphy shows just can't decide to focus on what kind of show they want to be. I understand that they want to cross genres, but everything is just so half-assed.
You know, this actually starts to get sad if you think about it too hard. He doesn't want Ness to get stuck in the same kind of demanding job he does that prevents him from spending time with loved ones, so he cautions him against working too hard.
Ha! Yeah, good point, I guess I forgot what pop culture was actually like in 1995.
