Yeah, you'll have to start a whole new game, it'll ask you to pick a character when you do that.

During the week, sure, I work a set work schedule, so bedtime and waking up are the same time everyday. I still like an active social/night life, so during the weekend or days off, I'll admit, no, my sleeping patterns aren't so set. I am 32, so perhaps it's that my age is starting to show in that regard.
Okay, yeah, this was definitely the last bit of push I needed to hear, thank you. I'm definitely going to schedule a sleep study and hope that they can help me out. I'm worried that if I don't get this fixed soon, it will start to lead to depression or other health problems.
I suppose it's possible. I always think of sleep apnea as people who have trouble staying asleep, etc., but I guess I don't know if there are different variations. That definitely is not my problem, I sleep very deeply, I just seem to do it all the time.
No, this has been going on for what seems like years, but it only seems like it's gotten worse within the last few months.
I'm starting to wonder if I could suffer from mild narcolepsy or some other sleep disorder. It's nothing that has gotten too disruptive to my life yet, but I am so completely drained of energy seemingly all the time. I sleep 7-8 hours each night, plus a 1-2 hour nap in the evenings, and if it's a day I can sleep in, I…
I'm playing through the Shovel Knight DLC as Plague Knight. It's pretty cool to play through the levels again as someone with a completely different playstyle. The way you can mix and match the way that your bombs behave is a pretty cool feature as well.
I'm going to check that out. Thanks!
I made out with a really cute guy at a bar beer bust this past Sunday. I got his number, and I'm gonna see if he wants to hang out again, but even if it doesn't go anywhere, I guess it's nice to know my powers of seduction can still be effective. I've been in such a dry spell, I was starting to worry if I lost the…
*plays "Mother Stands for Comfort" by Kate Bush while reading article*
To be fair, a lot of contemporary professional reviews of the game at the time also dismissed the game as cartoony and childish. I wonder if any of those journalists are now embarrassed about that at all?
Check out Yume Nikki if you're ever in the mood for an indie "walking simulator." It cribs a lot of its visual aesthetic from the Mother series, but it's deliciously surreal and disturbing, with endless ways to interpret its meaning.
Do not let him play Mother 3 until he's ready for the feelings. As a 30 year old grown ass man, I was left pretty inconsolable by that game.
I get annoyed that he calls you to remind you that you're a loser who's been playing this game for way too long and maybe you should go outside. GOD DAD, this is who I am, it's not a phase, leave me alone!
"Pokey, you don't like BUTTS, do you? T-O-O B-A-D!!!"
I like that the score even sounds like Joe Hisaishi arrangements of Zelda's theme. This is extremely well done, even if it is mostly static backgrounds. I love that the shopkeeper is in the "17 year old working at a mall kiosk" pose.
You make a good point. It's funny how even at a personal level, your own taste seems to evolve along with the medium. For example, as much as I consider Final Fantasy VI to be one of the best games ever made, some of the gameplay designs such as random battles, grinding, etc., all of which were perfectly normal for…
How do you make a game like Pac-Man appealing to new generations without betraying what made it special in the first place? Aside from making each new iteration look more and more like a Daft Punk music video, I have to say, Pac Man Battle Royale was a pretty good shot, as it's loads of fun with 3 friends and drinks…
Speaking of Lovecraftian ideas, one thing I hope for Persona 5 is the return of Philemon, Nyarlathotep, etc., even if it's just minor. It always kind of bugs me that there's such a clear-cut divide between P1/P2 and P3/P4, so I guess I'd just like some threads to connect them all together.
Man, I loved the plot of ME1. As much as I love ME2 and 3 for the great characters and (in my opinion) improvements in gameplay, they really failed to do anything interesting with the galaxy that ME1 established. Hell, it almost seems like the team that took over ME2 actively disliked ME1, preferring slick action…
