I feel like this is the millionth time I've posted about Silent Hill in response to a MAWP, but truly, once the apartment in Silent Hill 4: The Room gets corrupted and you start finding different hauntings there ranging from "slightly off" to downright horrifying. That was a pretty brilliant mix-up, to turn your save

Thanks for the link! This just goes to show the amount of care and attention to detail Yacht Club puts behind their games.

They're both serviceable but not groundbreaking games. Ghost of Sparta is the more interesting of the two, as it gives you a peek into more of Kratos's family and background.

Best In Show has the most memorable moments and is the most quotable for me, so I'm gonna have to go with that one.

I mean, I tolerated them when I was a kid, because you didn't really have a choice. Looking back, though, it feels like a cheap way to pad the game length and up the difficulty. To each their own.

For me, LttP pretty much sets up the Zelda template. That's arguably a bad thing to some people, but since it was the first game to do so, I think it's a check in its favor. That said, for me the world doesn't have as much personality and the characters aren't as quirky or memorable as later games in the series.

I picked up Shovel Knight on a whim, just wanting something new to play on my Vita. Man, I should’ve given into the hype earlier, because this game is amazing. It’s interesting to compare it to Mighty No. 9, both being Mega Man pastiches. But Mighty No. 9 suffers because it slavishly tries to recreate every little

Oh my goodness, stoned Jess and Cece trying to steal the floor model of the bread maker. I don't think I've laughed as much at good old fashioned physical comedy since, well, probably Leslie Knope's ice rink campaign entrance in Parks & Rec.

The cringeworthy marketing and trailers for this show remind me a lot of the cringeworthy marketing and trailers for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend season 1. I get marketers and ad people are trying to make the show seem as appealing as possible to the biggest audience, but they fail so spectacularly sometimes to convey the real

Don't settle for substitutes, swettle for swubstiswuits!

Done. Thank you.

Agreed. I, too, have been lamenting my supposed lack of progress, and then got compliments. It's just harder to track the changes when you see yourself everyday.

Man, I loved Black Flag. Maybe my favorite AC game outside of the Ezio trilogy. For me, it was less about stunning architecture and vistas, more about the swashbuckling pirate adventure. And sea shanties!

The Bioshock series in general is one of those prime examples where great art direction, atmosphere, and narrative pull you through some pretty bland gameplay mechanics. I love those games to death, I just wish FPS was not necessarily the genre they had gone with.

Hey, I saw Puscifer this year too. Developed quite a crush on the luchador in red over the course of the show.

They're not all that strange, at least not in the part of the USA I live, but a coworker brought me a ton of tomatillos. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all of them, but I figure an avocado tomatillo salsa will be my first dish. From my experience, they seem to be most common in Arizona-style Mexican food,

Oh my gosh, I love jackfruit. Since it's ice cream, I'm guessing they'll have added sugar, but if you ever get the chance to eat a fresh one, they're deliciously mild and refreshing. Almost melon-like in flavor.

One of the best adventure games ever made. Hope you enjoy it!

Final Fantasy X HD still. I actually haven't played it at all since last week, when I died on the battle against Yunalesca. I got her to her third form, and then she used an instant death move against my whole party. It felt like a cheap move, wasting my time, so I'm still feeling a little salty about it.

Last concert I went to was LCD Soundsystem at Red Rocks. I don't really need to tell you that a Colorado summer night, a beautiful outdoor venue, and good electronic music go together very well.
