The life of an accordion repo man is always intense.

NL: Oh, my bad. Eddie really hit rock bottom (as many players do) as a member of the New York Mets. But he fought back. Got to 3000 hits, played in a World Series…Eddie's cool. I've been to his house.

Not when he could be playing footsies with Grandma Josephine.

Slaughterhouse 5 was pretty good…

That's them. Though the little sidekick wasn't always an animal. Jackie Robinson was helped along by a ball of socks that he used as a baseball when he was a boy.

Oh, god. Looking back, 1996 was probably my physical prime. Someone put me out to stud.

Maybe y'all could double date with Erie and Buffalo? They could really stand to get out of the house now that the kids have left home.

Were you confused as to why, among Thomas Jefferson, Marie Curie, Florence Nightingale, etc. there was a Michael Landon one?

Cutter is the worst. He's been on the brink of elimination almost every week, making lame excuses the whole way. He should have been bounced in the very first episode, but episode two was the "feed an army" challenge, so they couldn't eliminate the army guy before that. Talk about a missed opportunity. Now he'll have to wait 15 years until it becomes a cult classic and everyone dresses up in costume for midnight shows and spanks it in unison.

I kinda liked that the category was a bit of a red herring, and I thought the clue was just perfect for FJ. "In the dictionary" suggests that you'll need a good vocabulary, but to get the right answer you had to have a pretty firm base of knowledge in chemistry as well. When the answer wasn't completely obvious when

How's the weather in Lowell today?

So The Purge is good? I didn't make it through the opening credits with the security cam footage and the spelled-out premise. Couldn't imagine anything other than 2 hours of gratuitous, graphic violence.

I used cast iron on med-low heat. Still brushed the skin with the littlest bit of oil first. After ten minutes I had half a cup of schmaltz to pour off. I get scared of mega-fuckin-hot with chicken. Afraid I'll either cook it dry or medium rare.

A little egg and chick pea flour go in my quinoa burgers. They stick together pretty well.
