This is exactly me. I was excited for the Supra And had it on my list as my next car but man the C8 changed my mind. While I didn’t get a 2020 order in for the C8 it’s worth waiting for a 2021 over a Supra because it looks awesome.

The only thing the C8 has over the new Supra is that GM didn’t collaborate with anyone to build it, which makes the Supra being a rebodied Z4 all the more galling. Otherwise I'm as grouchy about the C8 being beaten with an ugly stick so hard the engine went and hid in the trunk it's not funny.

I dunno about you, but I’m boycotting them going forward until they come up with a more reasonable stance on this issue. Censorship of competitors who are calling for more democracy, of all things, is absolutely beyond the pale. The fact that it offends an authoritarian regime doesn’t matter.
