Uh okay, but where is she supposed to go if her dad can’t take her into the woman’s bathroom? pee her pants?

I remember thinking it wasn’t fair when I was little that my friend Jon got to go into the girl’s bathroom with his mom at the pool, and my dad never took me into the boy’s bathroom.

Oh god. Whatever. Unless you are whipping them out and showing them to her, the fact is that she’ll see a man’s back standing at a urinal. If she’s a curious girl (and most children are) she might stare (good time to teach a child not to) and look to see a flacid penis mostly covered by a dude’s hands/pants, peeing

Stop sexualizing a 5-year old, she’s going potty, not checking out “other guys dick.”

Eh, I don’t think men make a big deal out of displaying their dicks in the bathroom. Most folks just want to pee and get out. I think she is far more traumatized by this raging maniac trying to beat up her dad than she would have been by a glimpse of penis.

I have used men’s restrooms so many times at concerts or whatever and have never once seen any peen. The first time I saw a non family member’s member was some guy peeing just off a hiking trail. I survived. Even giggled a bunch.

I saw a guy help his girlfriend in the bathroom because she had a broken arm. Nobody complained.

That glass is “smoking gun” evidence. A test of the wine combined with the video and eyewitnesses removes almost all reasonable doubt. He’s going down.

Raise your hand if you’ve taken your 5-year old son into the ladies room with you and no one has batted an eye?

I was assaulted by someone I considered a “good friend” in university.

No.

Rape is not a crime of passion. It is one of control.

Sex has nothing to do with the asshole raping by using drugs. It's the power, domination thing that they get off on.

Yes it is. Of all the people I personally know who have been sexually assaulted, only one of us was assaulted by a stranger and FWIW that victim was male. But we’re taught that rape is something only strangers do.

That’s another SVU episode! That actor from Battlestar played this handsome successful guy who would target young women in bars, slip them a drug that rendered them pliable and unable to form memories, but awake, take them home and rape them. Most of the women had absolutely no memory of it even happening.

They honestly think they’re “owed” sex by any woman (or man, if they’re gay) whom they happen to fancy. And if said person doesn’t hand it over after the insertion of however many “friendship coins” that the guy deems sufficient, well, time to just take it. It’s all the victim’s fault for not wanting to jump on his

Both times I was assaulted it was by a guy I was associated with, not a stranger. My boss’s brother drugged me, and my friend’s roommate got me shitfaced and then raped me after allowing me to “sleep it off” on the couch. Acquaintance rape is infinitely more common than stranger rape.

It depends on the drug. Some at lower doses amp up pacivity, not an immediate knockout. That’s part of the danger of these drugs and the under reporting of their usage. It’s how the victim will walk out of the bar with someone they don’t know. Some victims recall “coming to” while engaged in a sex act they didn’t

We’re always told to fear strangers, but most assaults are by people we know and trust. Because they’re the ones we let get close to us. I hope he rots too.
