Oh, that is nightmare fuel.  Yikes.  Only a matter of time before someone’s showing up at an ER -- and let’s just hope it isn’t a kid.

To look cool*.

It fullfills one of Musk’s ketamine-fueled brain farts so he didn’t have to admit it was stupid.

I don’t mind Tesla, I will never own one because I think they all look like a generic computer mouse from the 90's, but the CyberTruck is the most useless vehicle ever made.

It exists to prove the people who said it was a stupid idea wrong. Unfortunately, its existence provides incontrovertible evidence that it was a stupid idea.

IMO this is recall worthy. My CX5 was recalled because lift gate struts could fail and cause it to come down on someone. This is just as bad if not worse

Probably the same thing sticky jellied children’s fingers do to stainless appliances: leaves a rust spot

“Whoa! Was that a gunshot??”

The thing that constantly surprises me about the Cybertruck is that it exists at all. Musk has made such a reputation for himself of giving up on things that I feel like he could have just said “woops, sorry, nevermind” and everyone would have forgot the whole thing. This “truck” is approaching boondogle faster than

The Cybertruck has bigger issues, like slicing people’s carrots without pause.

Elon works on the Ninetenn Eighty Four reality logic that, if you thinks it’s true, it really is!

But Elon said it will have a 500 mile range, cost $70k, and drive by itself. This article is FUD!

I’ll do my best to shed a tear for the rich idiots who bought one expecting it to be remotely practical.

The big, heavy wheels and tires aren’t helping. Nor is the weight, and the aero isn’t exactly leading the competition. Not to mention Tesla’s established track record of... uh... very “optimistic” advertised range figures. Yeah, let’s call it “optimistic”.

An EV does better in the cities rather than highway due to less wind resistance and its pièce de sistance: Regenerative braking.

Can someone remind me the point of this vehicle is again? It does not seem to do anything well. Cant go offroad. Cant even go 200 miles without a charge. Bed is useless. Looks terrible and makes you look like the ultimate tool for driving one. I just dont get it.

+1, we also need to adjust his reported range figures for the fact that you know there were 0.00000 watts of power used for turn signals during the miles reported.

I for one, am shocked, that Tesla doesn’t do what the hype train promised.

Enter the era of electricity guzzlers.

One driver who put about 80% of the miles on the Cybertruck is quite aggressive
