Yeah, it was a LONG time ago. I think about it when I order something like a BMT or Cold Cut Combo. I know that some people make bank as a franchisee, but I sure wouldn’t want to operate one. Shit always slides downhill, so I doubt if corporate gives a rat’s ass if they are making things more difficult for owners &

I didn’t even mind it when Subway used to do pre-packs. You wanted a BMT, boom, they just slapped it all on there in one move. Someone working there told me that they had to make those pre-packs, too, but at least they could get often ahead of things.

Jersey Mikes is really good & I think part off what slows Subway down is that they somewhat encourage people to micro-manage their orders more than most of their competitors.

The CNN article says they want to do it in front of customers. I have doubts about it, but who knows if they’ll pull it off?

The CNN article says they want to do it in front of customers & I don’t know why they’d make a bog deal about no using pre-sliced meat if they’re just going to slice it earlier?

The CNN article says they want to do it in front of customers. I’m not sure how long that will last. I guess we’ll see?

It’s a major chain market & had a problem & supposedly fixed it. It’s rare that I use the deli as is. Very rare, but mostly because I make almost all of my own food.

Maybe, but the CNN article says they want to slice it in front of customers. And why make a big thing about not pre-slicing if they’re just going to do it anyway ahead of time?

Why would they make an actual thing about not using pre-sliced meats & then pre-slice it? The CNN article says they want to do it in front of customers, too.

The CNN article says in front of customers & also the slicing meat ahead of time kind of defeats the whole ‘no pre-sliced meat’ deal.

The other article from CNN says ‘The company believes its plan to slice meat in front of customers could make 2023 another recored year’. So it sounds like it might be per order? Maybe they can figure it out, but I would probably avoid going during a lunch rush until they do.

If that’s the case fine, but if they are slicing per order to emphasize how fresh it is then they are screwed. I would imagine that if they did try to start per-order slicing that they will probably go back to having it sliced before time. It’s not very clear in this article how they will do it, but Subway may have

This somewhat sounds like they’re going to slice per order to do the ‘freshness’ thing. I hope that’s not the case, but if is really going to slow stuff up.

Well, this should nicely hammer Subway into obscurity. Not only is it going to take MUCH longer to get most of their subs, but even worse, I have serious doubts that each franchise will take the time to routinely & properly clean their slicers. I know that the local Kroger/Frys I use had a serious issue cleaning their

That’s exactly what I got when I used the ol’ Google. Just saying a cup & a can would have made looking it up unnecessary, but perhaps it was just a a minor oversight (on a 2-ingredient recipe)? Thanks for the confirmation!

I looked it up elsewhere & the consensus seems to be 1 Cup of butter to one 14 oz can of the s.c. milk. Oh, well.

Amounts? I’m guessing a ‘standard’ small can of the s.c. milk, but butter? 1 cup, 1/2 a cup, 10 cups?

‘97 Valk owner tips his hat! I let someone solo ride my Valkyrie & she weighs maybe 130 & she was amazed how easy it was to generally handle. She’s not what I’d call an experienced rider, but she’s also not a brand new rider.

Next up, Kanye starts showing off a stockpile of weapons. This sure AF seems like it’s going in that direction. The “If I can’t have you, no one will...EVER!” sorta thing. I usually feels some sympathy for people going through severe mental health crises, but this is way beyond that & is well into dangerous territory
