Weeelll, they have ‘borrowed’ from bits and bobs of just about everything over the years. The Simpsons Wiki is a deep, dark void that one can fall into if not careful. I’m sure that people like Macfarlane, Parker, Stone and many others have come back wild eyed and well hhhwhipped from a few deep dives there.

Simpsons did it first!

DAMN IT! And damn these RightWing fuckwads who obviously targeted all of you (and DS too!)!

Some people prefer Beyond, but I guess we’re not among those who in that group. For me, Beyond has a much stronger smell and taste that’s just too far off. It was off-putting and I couldn’t get past it. BK’s Impossible had a bit of a smell too, but the burger, especially dressed up, tasted fairly close to a standard

Of course he doesn’t and I didn’t say that anyway. I damn well know that he’s not the type to endorse products he doesn’t like, especially given his past. He’s super chill, but pushed hard enough, which isn’t likely to happen, he certainly isn’t going to be promote anything he’s not cool with. He comes across as a

He makes bank, but if you think he’s so rich that he’s above doing things like...ummm...fast food commercials...umm, yeah. I’ve always liked Snoop though and however he can make a buck from his well-earned popularity, I say go for it! He went from slinging on the streets to hanging out with Martha Fricking Stewart and

Beyond reminded waaaay too much of those really bad fake soy burgers and the taste lingered a damn long time. Like the ones that were served in the 80s when people really didn’t give an eff about the flavor vs. their meager public school budgets. I was burping it up for a couple of hours, which actually surprised me a

Beyond did absolutely nothing for me, hated it, but so far Impossible has fared better for me. Maybe that will change when I can cook up a burger myself that isn’t covered in BK gloop, but it didn’t remind me as much of the horrid soy burgers slopped out in my old grade school vomitoriums.

I hear that many of those products are tainted...

Haven’t looked yet, but it should be fun to see some of the future comments!

Hell yeah! Fuckyouverymuch, Maidment!

Buh bye, Maidment! :-)

Sorry to interrupt this Kotaku goodness, but Paul Maidment just resigned! Awesome start!

Paul Maidment just resigned! This is a damn good start!!!!

HA! Paul Maidment just resigned! HELL YEAH! :-)

It’s all scabby and gross now! I wasn’t a huge poster on DS, but I still clicked on it every day to see what’s going on. I’m not clicking on it now though! I don’t want to see DS or any other site die, but I hope that the backlash against these tools puts some serious fear into them. My greatest hope is that the

We, your faithful minions, love you guys and will support you to the best of our abilities! Cheers and much luck getting through all of this! :-)

It’s just crazy what they’re doing! I started out many years ago on Kotaku and then Splinter began to take up a TON of my clicks, so that really hurt seeing them kill it off (I have some deeeep suspicions about killing off all of the political stuff too!). The Takeout soon became one of my favorite daily chill spots

Of course! It’s sad visiting the graveyard known as Deadspin though. I’ll support the other sites and the writers that work at them, but I don’t even want to click on DS any more. I obviously have no idea what their endgame is, but it damn well seems like they’re actively trying to kill off our favorite sites!

It sure seems to be. My personal traffic is waaaay down since Splinter got shit canned and all of this other bullshit certainly isn’t helping. It’s weird though. I like supporting the people that are still here, especially on the Takeout, but I sometimes feel a bit dirty visiting the site because of the a-holes that
