I’ve been thinking a lot about this incident and the take that resources were potentially wasted on five billionaires. I have thoughts, but no blog or anything so, I’m going to share them here.

Worth noting that there is no such thing as a “Nazi sympathizer.”  If you have 9 Nazis sitting at a table and one “Nazi sympathizer,” you have 10 Nazis.

In theory this sounds great, but in practice this is going to be problematic. What happens when the drunk driver goes to jail and cannot pay child-support? What is going to happen to insurance companies now that they won’t have to pay out as much?

Is it possible his approval rating is tanking because people don’t understand how our government works so they buy into promises a Presidential candidate makes but actually has no power to deliver on because the role of the president is to appoint a cabinet and sign laws passed by congress?

If the police ever want to interview you for something where there’s even the remotest chance you could be a suspect, you need to lawyer up. Cops are interested in clearing cases and naming suspects for DA”s to charge, not necessarily in getting to the truth.
