As someone who worked at Tesla during the early years when no one knew the company and those that did were just waiting for it to die, it is endlessly gratifying to see these ads. The simple fact that BMW says nothing about their vehicle beyond 72MPGe, speaks louder than anything else. A confident company/person

It’s called sarcasm. Singers are the holy grails of custom Porsches and cost $400k+. They are about craftsmanship and attention to detail, not stat sheets. Whoever was running it in this rally could care less what speed they actually hit because they looked glorious doing it. Kristen was making a joke saying she would

Went to Blackhawk Cars and Coffee today. Only took two photos outside, the rest are inside the museum. Amazing show outside with a great mix of old and new but I was too busy talking with people to takes photos.

Your math is off simply because you give too much credit to a human’s reflexes. The avg time it takes a car to stop from 60mph is an entire football field, so if he started the turn about 300 or so ft away, there was zero way to avoid it going 75mph, Stopping distances. Model S 70-0 Braking is 159 ft as well.

Hahahahahaha, this is your idea of proof?!? I both own a Volvo and am a fan of Volvo and immediately called this out for what it was when the article came out...Nothing more than a competitor with an inferior product trying to talk badly about their competition. Again do you have any actual evidence to back up all the

You have some actual data or anything to back this up? I’ll save you from responding, the answer is no. You are desperately searching for anything to fit this narrative of yours but sorry it doesn’t exist.

Okay, now you have proved you are completely full of crap. You are on an anti-Tesla campaign on multiple websites and have no actual factual arguments to back anything you say up. If you missed it, that article I posted has AP listed as the #1 available system. All the systems allow you to take your hands off the

It’s time to give up when you are behind. You are talking in straight circles. You continue to ignore facts to try to prove a point and continue to get called out for it. You say “EVERY” car maker does X, then when you are called out on it you try to brush it off. You say Tesla has intentionally disabled safety

You need to stop this “EVERY” other car maker nonsense if you couldn’t figure it out. MB is straight calling their cars self driving in their ads but you ignore it because it doesn’t fit your narrative.

You mean like MB and their “self driving car”? I don’t know what makes you have such a personal vendetta against Tesla to ignore these little things called facts but you need to get over yourself.

Yet again making assumptions. Josh Brown was a very experienced user of AP. Trying to blame Tesla on not explaining how AP works is beyond a fallacy. He knew the system better than many people who worked for the company and that is a better angle for you to take for your argument but unfortunately it doesn’t fit your

You have no idea what the driver was thinking so you are again making assumptions and we already discussed the danger of that. No one who is barreling towards a semi at speed is going to go “you know what, the cars got this” and not take any action when it doesn’t do anything. You would have seen an attempt to brake

First of all, 100 is a tiny percentage but 1 is an issue? Second, there has been a total of 2 incidents involving this with AP if you include the parking lot one. In the actual driving incident, the driver also did not see the trailer as he also did not brake.

You know what they say about assumptions and in this case it is spot on. According to the IIHS, about 100 people every year drive into the side of a trailer going across a road all on their own, http://www.thedrive.com/tech/4486/iihs….

I hope you’re not being serious. The GT engine and the F150 engine share nothing but a similar displacement. The GT engine is a new, full race engine derived from the units used on the Daytona Race cars. Don’t let that Ecoboost name fool you into thinking there is any similarity between this and any other engine in

The 2nd video is actually a bunch of complete idiots. The XC60 they are “testing” lacks the City Safety feature with Pedestrian detection so was never going to stop for them. There have been many articles about this “incident”.

As I said from the beginning a conversation with you is pointless. You continue to try to paint a picture where the use of AP led to someone’s death where that is anything but fact. You also continue to say that I say that it is better when in fact I have not used any of these systems. What I in fact said is that

AutoPilot absolutely is a Level 2 system, I didn’t say anything to contradict that. What I said is that there is so much variation in the capabilities within these systems. If you seriously do not think there is a vast difference between the capabilities of the Tesla, Volvo and MB systems vs the rest of the market,

This is a matter of semantics. There is no clear consensus yet on what clearly defines the levels. Some automakers use SAE, others use NHTSA, while BMW of course uses some German Assoc., Autonomous Levels.

Oh really, so please enlighten us all about all of these Level 2 cars because Volvo and Infiniti are the only others with cars on the road with MB about to release the E Class with Pilot Drive. None of the other systems qualify as Level 2 yet.
