Wow, now I don’t feel so bad about the 200 or so photos I took yesterday. Those guys in the open top vintage race cars with no helmets were nuts because halfway through their “parade” laps the guys in the RS Spyder, Gt1 and that Jules Formula car got to the front and were doing 130+ down the front straight.

I will be posting a bunch of stuff from Sunday over the next few days on my page. The did the parade laps again Sunday but they got pretty spirited when the Spyder and Gt1 passed the older cars and started getting up to 125-130mph on the front straight which was nuts since the guys in the older cars didn’t even have…

Didn’t think any cars would be brought down from upstairs for Rennsport so didn’t post, but okay...

So just checked and the 917K and other 917’s will be on the track for Qualifying on Sat but won’t race until Sunday, so I’m going Sunday. Sunday will also have exhibition laps of the 919 and 911 RSR, so it seems like the day to be there. Race Schedule

Doug, you should probably give the same heads up to Tavarish who is blindly telling people that it is a “smart investment” to buy used TDI’s right now. I think his article about it may qualify for worst investing advice of all time.
