Yes really. What you are referring to is called a Polestar optimization. Available to add to many models. Very different than these cars.

This is not actually rare at all. It is an XC60 R Design that is just in the same Rebel Blue color. Not a Polestar.

I ordered a set of the Black 60’s plate back in October. Just spoke to the DMV about them yesterday and they said since I ordered vanity plates I probably won’t get them until September.

One other key point you are missing, my car is a wagon. Performance wagons are like unicorns in the US. I will agree with a lot of your points when it comes to the sedan, but I wasn’t interested in the sedan, only the wagon.

The unique factor definitely plays a huge roll. I see countless 335’s, S4’s and C400’s every single day. There are only 80 V60 Polestars in the US. That’s rarer than a La Ferrari, P1 and 918.

They are Black, along with the rest of my car. The front splitter keeps getting scratched up, so the vinyl is easier to replace than getting the splitter repainted, so I covered them.
