At this price point? A decent 986 Boster would be ok but I think a well sorted one will be over $10k. There would be a lot of small fun to drive cars I would pick for under $10k before a Boxster, and I am a die hard Porsche fan so that’s not it at all. Double the budget and I would be confident in a nice sorted 986 or…

If it’s not going to destroy your budget get the PPF, you will not regret it.  After that is installed get a good ceramic coating as well.  Money well spent
