The new Crosstrek Wilderness would be a nice start. Give it some solid axles while you’re in there and it would be a plastic clad TANK

None. I wish most of them were wagons and hatchbacks.

If it’s YOUR cabin then you don’t have to bring much, it should already be there. Since you can now pack light I would pick the Volvo V60 Polestar. Just look at it!

I work on, collect, and own a lot of vintage stuff in our home. The difference between 60 years ago and today is that a lot of your typical household appliances, TV sets, irons, yadda yadda were not only way more expensive but also more robustly built. A boring AM radio for example would set you back a minimum of $20.

Agreed. Part of the reason people could afford to live on a single income with mostly domestic production 60 years ago is because they simply didn’t have as much crap back then. And the stuff they did have was made to last.

I’m up in Canada and I can say there is plenty of nervousness here about what’s to come for the US.  Unfortunately we are tied to the US in more ways than we care to admit and will ultimately suffer right along side you as Captain Creamsicle does his worst impression of a president.  This will be a long 4 years ahead

Pretty sure that’s a Lambo, dude!

please dont insult ladies

Some states mandate that non-DOT approved lights have covers on them, even if they’re off. I haven’t yet decided if I’ll leave the covers on or not.

About american (car) sizes :

just get rid of the whole things, it’s terrible.  It does not compete well with anything in the EV crossover class.  Bad range, slow charging, slow 0-60, no storage (No frunk or glovebox?!?) it’s just not a good vehicle.

Ford EcoSport. Even free I would still be disappointed in my self every time I had to drive it.

Huh, weird, it should be a slideshow but I might have messed something up in our CMS for it to publish not as one.

This whole DOGE and pony show

Because we stay in town and eat with friends, and have a few drinks.

I’m in NE Ohio as well as just swapped my factory 20" Pzero for an 18" Blizzak for the winter.  I loved shopping for the winter wheels as well, chance to change it’s look for a few months.  I loved my winter wheels on my last car so much I bought summers for them as well.

Not in Colorado but on my street there is a stop sign that is always ignored, one day while walking the dogs in a ravine I saw a broken traffic sign that indicated ‘camera monitored intersection’ so being a lawful kinda guy I dragged it out and left it for the traffic department. Oops I meant I took the sign home and

I just want a stock one.
