One of the simple pleasures I get a kick out of when working stage rallies is the fact the we transit the same roadways as the competitors. I hit 135 mph in an Infiniti G35 on the Merit / Wilbur Cross Parkway driving from home one evening after work. It was dark and there was virtually no traffic but deer grazing just off the shoulder are a regular feature of this route. It was certainly not a good idea but I am here to tell the tale.
