Who are you talking about? I saw the one with Matt Damon, Bill Murray, and the guy from Downton Abbey and they got sloshed! It was hilarious!! One of the funniest things I'd watched in ages.

Whoa!!! Black Guardian! I didn't even think of that! That would actually make the most sense over all!

Fair enough, I didn't catch that. So, it could have happened at any time, but they simply didn't know that until the end. Fair enough. Point withdrawn.

Couldn't be worse than some. Depends on how Futurama-esque he wanted to go.

I totally missed that! Dammit. Wish I could have seen what he was saying.

Well, lots of people make long posts here. And I am sorry if I came off hostile to your joke. But, like I said, I just post what's on my mind. That's half the fun of coming here. It's not Twitter. People can write as little or as much as they want. Also, I don't come here to have my take validated or denigrated.

LOL! You don't have to talk about me like I'm not here, man. Yes, I am "passionate" and I have "strong opinions". Yet, at no point, at no time, and in no way have I ever demanded people not like what they fucking like if they like it. I LOVED Mummy last week. Without fail. I loathed this week. Without fail. How does

What the…..?? Damn you Disqus!

Would have been a fair point to make if they had actually told us that… ;)

"The whole point is that people see what they want to see."

Very true. I remember when the Sonic was used to open doors, remove screws, and basically gain access to things. I used to hate when RTD would have Ten wave it around like a wand (still not sure how he, Smith, and the other guy were able to "push a Dalek" with it in the 50th episode) but I got used to it being an

Ahhh! Never heard of those. Yes, that would be a fun job to have, I would think.

…disqus sucks…

@ Much Love Character

Yes, good point. And if we're using past established examples, he could also have jettisoned rooms to give the TARDIS power. It was plot convenience, really. Just like how Clara could have Soniced-away the bad guys at any moment. But, they had to wait for The Doctor to do the finale thing where he says his name and

I agree, that was a weird shift. But wasn't that more Moffat's pacing and storytelling, versus whether it was one or two-parter episodes?

I've heard this repeated before. Who is this "everybody" people keep pointing to? I LOVED S6's ongoing narrative. I find it hard to believe there were people that didn't. I don't mind a healthy mix of singles and two-parters. And too much of either can unsettle the tone and flow of the show. But this is the second

I have to agree with you there. I've noticed the same and have been very appreciative of exactly that. It's like they are edging the character back to using his mind and wits to work things out. Which is probably why I was so disappointed that all Clara had to do was point the Sonic at the creatures and simply zap

Not sure I follow or agree. I think the Psychic Paper, as a narrative tool, is useful when you're in a hurry to get through the plot. But that's really my point. The show has been crushed into this 42-minute speed-show that rarely does a plot have any time at all to breath. That tends to force writers to fall back on
