I haven't been around much here since last year or so. But I had to stop by and agree: EASILY the best episode of DOCTOR WHO in 20 years or more! In the top five of all time, imo. Utterly flawless on all accounts. Special shout-outs to Moffat (for rare restraint and sober intention of substance over flash), the

Superman grabs Hulk, flies him into space. Hulk suffocates and reverts to Banner. Banner dies. Superman wins. The end.

The answer is "yes"… ;)

Do you really hate all of that stuff or are you parodying someone you have spoken with previously? I ask, as nothing you said addresses anything that I said and just seems like you answered the wrong thread…

"Shocker." ;)

The whole episode failed once I realized Moffat had wussed-out and we have to endure another season of that Mary Sue control-freak bitch, Clara. Count me out. Doctor Who is due for a new hiatus. They stopped trying after S6. Waste of time now.

But dad…Abbot and Costello did coke in this very balcony!

You know, if this show had been about something actually important and wasn't constantly pretending to be a moral compass for the world while climbing up its own ass, it might have had a shot. But THE WEST WING it isn't, and boy has Sorkin been trying to write that ever since he left NBC. Comedy shows? Unimportant.

TRANSLATED: "I liked it and specific group majorities validate me. So everyone who didn't is wrong and are BULLIES!"

Ooh! Well reasoned! I would love a follow-up on that, though. The Cybermen aren't known for their creativity. So there has to be more to it (or The Master was running the show like you suggest).

Sooooo…..what was "Gus", then? (Mummy on Orient Express)

*eats popcorn*

Please stop talking Garbage.

Sounds to me like you're pretty racist, there. Where's your apology and 100k?

It's so funny that when someone makes a mistake, they get crucified for it in the court of public opinion. Yet, when that same person offers a freely given sincere apology, people still want to find phantom issues with it so that they don't have to do that whole "forgiveness" thing. The dude made a joke he probably

Thanks for all the work, Erik. Your 30 Rock reviews are like Leo Spaceman's pamphlets that guarantee male orgasm: fun, necessary, and altogether relaxing. It's your fault I found the AV CLUB. Take that one to your grave. But seriously, thanks for the time and effort.

Erik Adams has gone out to get a pack of cigarettes and will be back in a little while…..

I don't know if that's actually true, but my point was telling you that there actually is a follow-up to the Brian arc that you mentioned, and it's freely seen on YouTube or the DVDs. Your call whether you want to "accept" it or not. For a while he was "half-human" and now he's not. One day half the nonsense of this

Yeah, but he blew up at the end like all the rest of the Cybermen. Also, Nick Courtney is dead. I don't think it's cool to have a long-term recast of the character. I don't mind a "good" Cyberman. That would be interesting (and kind of like the comics). Just don't want it to be "Brig"-Cyberman.
