One can only hope, Dyg.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! A "female superhero movie"? From Marvel or DC? You must be joking! Marvel needs to find a way to make Robert Downey Jr young again and DC is busy finding ways to make more Batman films. Who are YOU to expect variety? ;)
Agreed, Sir Winston. It's the product of a nerdy power-fantasy reacting to the Dubya America with the most obvious and ill-conceived thinly-disguised allegories by a Brit writer best known for parodying superhero comics, who currently whores out anything X-MEN/FOX tells him they want. This whole article from Variety…
My thing is, what falling out? The two haven't even fell in as far as the movies go. In the comics, there was precedence as they had been best buds for years. In the movies, they pissed each other off in AVENGERS and….that's it. So, we go from pissed-off to MORE pissed off? So no dramatic meat there at all. In fact,…
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I feel dumber for having even read that Variety article.
Agreed. I was waiting for them to add that GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY will somehow crossover with STAR WARS. Basically, the Patton Oswalt Filibuster from PARKS AND REC http://youtu.be/5BBhNkywMJY
LOL! No, kid. My own posts are reality and present in this chain of conversation. I'm not sure what reality you are trying to pretend exists. But keep swinging while searching for relevance.
Not at all. I explained that while I agree, I've already made my feelings about that episode known in the proper article, and that this review is about MUMMY and that's what everyone is actually talking about, so I won't rehash the same comments I've already posted in that previous review. Try again.
Agreed, with the caveat that I felt nothing really forced in The Doctor's performance in MUMMY. Previous episodes of the season? Totally. But I feel Mathieson captured that perfect balance for being The Doctor of old-old without exaggerating it into total unlikability.
No, thank YOU. Any pants that aren't freaky, aren't pants at all in my book…. ;)
Ah! Thanks man. I had forgotten about SHAKESPEARE CODE (not my fave, but not the worst). I L-O-V-E UNICORN AND THE WASP, and think PLANET OF THE DEAD is one of the worst episodes ever made. Also, never knew he wrote any 90's novels. I wasn't a reader of them so I'm a bit spotty on who is part of the Wilderness Crew.…
If you check, I felt free to comment however I want, with whatever I want, in whatever form I felt like looong before you appeared. Your consideration or approval is much like your input here: irrelevant. LOL! ;)
That's a hugh request, but one I'm sure I could grant. This thyme.
Granted, that's a bad habit of mine…
Hugh Grant, Lou Grant, Ted Grant, Money Grant, the Iron Grant, something, something, something, The Aristocrats!
You and I are on the same page here, man. It was THE diamond in the rough for me this season. Totally re-energized me on the show again.
Me fail english? That's unpossible!! ;)
Fair enough. I know the timeframe was part of the legend of the creature, and then it was explained why with the phasing conceit. I guess for me, mythology and science built in a fantastic alien setting like the Orient in Space works for me since I have nothing to compare it to, versus Earth-bound fantasy science…
What about the guy that wrote The Lodger? Wasn't that one his first at the time? I loved that one right off. But CLOSING TIME and THE CARETAKER are the pits for me, as it seems to repeat the same things as Lodger.
"While there's a lot to like about this episode, I can't get past my
issues with its plot. I'm used to making excuses for 'Doctor Who', but
the last-minute explanations here just won't wash."
