So did Wilf. That's my point. No character needs a "dramatic build-up of importance" to become a Companion. The beauty would be if they slipped it under the radar on us and Perkins became a surprise regular. Companion or The Master… ;)

And no one asked you for yours. Funny how that works, huh?
Awesome! Like we have all suggested, now that you have seen that one…and if you have access to Netflix streaming…I would try out 2010's THE ELEVENTH HOUR or 2005's ROSE. Both of those will "catch you up" pretty quick as far as the show itself. But if you're comfortable with what's happening, have at it. And welcome on…
Six wore one as well. Don't know what they're called…
Wonderful theory, so I went back and checked. "Can we get a new expert?", the expert reacted to that line. When the captain was seeing the Mummy and Perkins is counting down, he reacts by saying "Someone shut that man up!"
Thank you! I even mentioned the same elsewhere.
Fair enough. I honestly meant nothing with the Pavlov reference, other than trying to find a pseudo-accurate analogy. No offense intended at all. Promise. :)
As was my response to you. lol
Okay, finally found a "flaw"! Right when The Doctor and Clara land, and she steps out of the TARDIS, she shuts the door. The next shot when The Doctor is thanking her for "lying", you can still see the door is open in the background.
-A Captain Jack-esque action guy, mid-20's, but not technology savvy at all. Like an African human rights activist trying to escape the hellhole of 2039, or a Japanese immigrant working as a delivery driver in the US, trying to save for college and the like. Someone with a background that isn't "special" but at least…
Yeah, fingers crossed it's pure Jamie Mathieson like this week's and Moffat stays away as much as possible.
So Bradley, what did you think?
The worst Capaldi? As in, he's not a fully formed Doctor yet? Agreed. The worst story? For me, that's a tie between LISTEN and KILL THE MOON. MUMMY is the best of everything, though.
Next week's will be his second, I believe.
Have to agree. But, I've already made my thoughts on KtM clear. We're talking about this current awesome episode, MUMMY. :)
THAT'S where I've seen that actor! ROME! Well done, man!
ME TOO! :)
There's no such word as "speciesist". It's an extension of over-PC-ed mentality from some fans who think you can judge fictional social and cultural memes to real world concepts and ills. Stop looking for it. There were no aliens because the plot demanded it and the BBC has a cheap budget the past two seasons. Nothing…
Totally agreed. Excellent episode all around!
….oh those monkeys are gunna pay…
