Fair points. Something for me to consider. :)

Agreed! In my opinion, Season Five & Six, even with their clunkers, were amazing seasons. Full of life and promise and excellent stories and direction (mostly). But ever since the end of WEDDING OF RIVER SONG when Dorium (who was replaced with Handles in Eleven's finale thanks to the obvious cheapness of the casting

Because a century or so on a planet where he perpetually lead armies against the bad guys doesn't justify rewriting his entire pathos from the last two-thousand previous years, or the last fifty-years of this show. I've seen The Doctor this season. But The Doctor wasn't in The Caretaker.

Who is Seb? Was that the dude in "Heaven"? How do we know his name? The credits? What opinion would The Doctor have for this guy?

Fair enough. Understand, I loooove Peter Capaldi. Think he's an amazing actor. But even the best actor can only work with the material they are given. That's the crux of my issues. The scripts, direction, tone, style, companion, and overall the show itself has been off for me since the beginning of Season Seven. But,

Who can tell? She was a leaf in time, super-Clara-everywhere in the Doctor's life, a random "souffle girl" Dalek, barmaid in Victorian Times, a girl who liked to wander through cemeteries for no real reason, a nanny to two obnoxious brats shoehorned into an episode for some reason, a girl trying to cook Xmas dinner

Sounds good. Expect me and anyone else I can find to come over to your blog, ignore whatever amateurish nonsense you write, and advertise everyone elses material and work. Cuz, you know, fuck censorship, right? Do you go to McDonalds and advertise your fast food place? Because how dare they try and censor your need to

"Feel"? It couldn't be more obvious, honestly. That's why this Doctor has been pretty disappointing so far. Moff's just trying to rehash Hartnell instead of developing something genuinely new. That's just me, though…

I think you are assuming too much from a throwaway scene to cameo the actor Tom Baker, in a throwaway episode trying to cash in on PR hype. The Great Curator or whatever will never factor into this show. Ever. I don't see it as possible or relevant to the rest of the series. It was just a cameo for Tom Baker to appear

And yet, Danny Pink and Rory Williams have more character than Clara Oswald. Says something about how awesome they actually are…

If they kill off Courtney next week, I will be amazed at their bravery of storytelling.

Agreed. The Doctor was acting like a prick for no reason. This helped illuminate Danny's character in a good light and The Doctor as a toxic element.

PROS: Danny Pink. His best episode. He grew a backbone, was incredibly patient with the hypocritical old man from Gallifrey, did an awesome flip, and basically was the best thing about this entire episode. Contrary to everything I would have believed, I actually could tolerate the Courtney character. Turns out, not

And yet you still respond. Funny, huh? Who brought up sex again? Who assumed who was a guy first? Good luck in equality class. See you next time you feel the need to be relevant! LOL!

LMAO!! Yes, because somehow not arbitrarily guessing your sex in a discussion that has nothing to do with that is a barometer of "old fashioned" qualities. Your intellect is impeccable. My importance to you remains. Way to be sexist, btw.

I loooooove Capaldi. I just wish they would give him scripts worth his time.

I don't think the results of "went mad" and "run away" were instant. I think it planted the seed in them that helped their evolution into the "madman" and "runaway" they became as adults. Or it was literary license, as many fans like to provide to the current era. Or you're right, and RTD was high. LOL! Who knows?

2) Interesting exception. It's the only one that makes sense, though. In a way. I'd be okay except that it's Moffat himself who came up with the non-Gallifreyan translation thing. But whatever, eh?

Fair play to me being uninformed then. Thank you!
