I think people are viewing my avatar as an approximation of my age! I just turned 41! LOL! But, as for Classic Who and Doctor/Master: No real information was ever given about their relationship and motivation, other than they once were "friends at the Academy". So, The Master must have attended the Academy at some

I guess I don't have any "favorite tv programs" I can't just find online somewhere, sans commercials. I find Netflix superior for its pricing and lack of intrusive ads. But to each their own. I just loathe commercials. ;)

I love that because marketing can't seem to evolve past broadcast television style commercials, they're simply doubling-down and trying to force everyone to view their ads. HULU blows my mind. I genuinely find it amazing ANYONE actually pays to watch their commercial-laden selections. That's why streaming services

Ahhhh! Gotcha. Okay, that makes sense. I wouldn't count it as universal, but I find your reasoning solid. And the sister-story is pretty damn funny man! Stop taking her to bars! lol Thanks for taking the time to spell it out for me.

If they play that swerve, I'll re-evaluate this entire season. That not only would be genius, story-wise, but would cement it as Moffat's greatest twist. What a gut-punch that would be, too, after so many fans cooing over the sentimental scene between the child and Clara. Would definitely turn my opinion around on the

As just turning 41, I am not certain I follow your logic. Not saying there aren't people who can't grasp platonic relationships. I am saying there seems to be an undercurrent within the under-30 demographic that demands EVERY male/female relationship (and in modern times, male/male relationships) question their sexual

Spot-on! Exactly that.

Not sure I agree. I think that's a pastime of TV execs assumptions and the under-25 crowd. Plenty of people who are intellectually and emotionally mature (and secure) have no problem understanding a platonic relationship. Sometimes, people just don't want to love or fuck each other… LOL!

Thanks man, but don't sweat it. There will always be those who cannot separate the concept of "opinion" and "fact", or "arguing" and "debating". I've expressed in countless ways and countless posts how much I enjoy Peter Capaldi but am not happy with the show itself right now. But because I don't jump on the Fanboy

Wow, I love places like this. Where fanboys insist you like everything or don't speak. I am glad I bother you. It shows me that my opinion is important to you. Please continue to follow every word I post. LOL! ;)

No, I didn't miss anything. It simply made no sense compared to the entire history of the show. It's the current era doing what the current era does: existing in a bubble of its own reality so that it supports the current whim of the current story being told, with no regard to anything that came before.

Cool? What do you mean? I didn't mention social networking sites….

Tracey using the word "fiddle-faddle" to describe the Easter candy his fictional daughter eats when making the diabetes speech always catches me. Is that a thing?

"30 Rock's better in syndication than on DVD/streaming because I tend to not remember which joke is in what episode without choosing it, and it limits the number of episodes I'll watch to two."

Spot on. Personally I disliked both live episodes, but found it amusing to download the East and West coast versions to compare what they changed (for example, Jon Hamm's "hand" in his appearance was a female in one version, and a black one in the other). Still, it seemed like a unnecessarily gimmicky thing for them

That's why you are a CEO of HBO and I am just a janitor at Showtime…

I always heard it as "NERDS!"

Don't tell me what a Fun Fact is, you Fungdark!

My vagina is a convenient store….clean and reliable…….and closed on Christmas…

Not only got it, but mentally high-fived you for it. You speak my nerdlanguage. Tea, Captain? ;)
