I’m almost finished completing the pokédex in Pokémon Sword. Only 14 to go, but they are the most boring/grindy of the bunch: the exclusive fossils -which apparently are available in Sword, since I managed to snag a fossilised drake- and Pokémon that evolve through friendship and weird trading mechanics

I don’t know. I love 2D Metroid but I felt a bit underwhelmed by Samus Returns (solid, but not groundbreaking). Maybe Team Cherry could be the way to go.

It’d be kinda like putting a border wall in Alaska, if that makes any sense (it doesn’t).

Sigh. At least I’ll get stoned before watching it. Maybe then it’ll appeal to me more.

I have a problem with panettone: It looks, and smells, WAY better than it tastes. I don’t mind it, but it’s just not for me.

TURRÓN (or, as the Italians call it: torrone)

I’ve played quite a few games this year, though most of them weren’t from 2019.

A ghost is haunting vidyagames: the ghost of unionization and worker solidarity.

I really loved “The Swindle”, the procedurally-generated indie heist simulator. The controls are a bit rough, but the TENSION is real, and failure has consequences. I feel like it needs a bit more love.

I’m BEGGING Nintendo for a collaboration with Team Cherry. Hopefully Metroid but any franchise would do.

I’m actually glad that a popular manga artist can afford to take breaks, especially with such harsh working conditions. Sorry for the fans, but I think the artist’s health goes first. And who knows, maybe his breaks can help him get his creativity back.

I’d kill for some popplers

ok

I’ll be playing POKÉMON SWORD this weekend. I was kinda but not quite outraged by (sigh) Dexit, underwhelmed by the lackluster graphics and the apparent lack of everything new to the table but. But. BUT.

I agree with wanting the double jump as soon a possible, but I also think that the double jump is, more often than not, a boring mechanic, an afterthought made because it’s how it’s done, and developers cannot think of ways to make the player jump that far or that high -or don’t want the player to do so very early in

Hey, at least it’s not a card game!

This Weekend: I have an 18-hour flight today, which means LUIGI’S MANSION 3. Also, some reading and stuff, I guess.

I’m sure tomorrow I’d give a different list, BUT
