BTW, just saw this posted on another board —

Crap. I have 400GB of pictures backed up. Adios, Mozy. I was a loyal customer for years, too.

Or you could just head to [www.google.com] to escape instant search, bouncing balls, pac-man games, and other Google annoyances.

The only thing that resume conveys is that the creator has no idea what a y-axis is.

Funny...one of my earliest comments on this site was a note that I wrote a macro that does this. I guess I need to be more pushy to make it to the front page :P

ID3-TagIT = Garbage. I tried it out last week. It takes forever to load the database every time you fire it up, has a horrible interface, and crashed three times on me. After the third crash it was off to CCleaner uninstall.

Thanks...I like it so far. I'll probably start ignoring it in a few days, but for now it's fun.

@virgilstar: How many cats have you seen? My cat uses the litter box in the bathroom, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't turn the light on while she's in there.

Just the tool I need. I was reviewing my Netflix account history this weekend and I realized that my monthly price keeps going up and up. Between Netflix's greed for monthly blu-ray charges and my own greed for more and more movies each month, I started feeling a little nervous. I wonder how renting a TV series vs

@Adam Griffin: Agreed. I'm looking at my FF3 icon in the taskbar right now, and there's no way any of those 3 will make a difference.

If Adblock takes that ridiculous route it's only a matter of time before they get replaced with another, better ad blocker. In fact, the only thing that's keeping me from Google Chrome is an easy way to block ads.

@SushamaAgasthenes: I wouldn't be surprised—every industry has its spies. And don't call me Shirley.

Meh. Sorry Google, too late for this party. I now manage all my tasks thru Windows Mobile on my Omnia, which (mostly) syncs with RTM. I barely even use the GCal RTM plug-in now.

I'm all for banishing voicemail, but where the heck do you people work? If I ignored vmails I'd be fired by the end of the week.

@rhinovalley: I don't think that's what Rhinovalley is actually experiencing. The comment was what if...then yeah, I guess you can't get to your "cloud" site because your connection's been hijacked!

C'mon, seriously? I've been using a text file in Notepad for years for this. Keep it simple, people.

I have music in my head constantly so the best technique I've found is to take the first letters of each word in a favorite lyric and combine them. Then I group accounts, like all my email accounts use one song, all my work accounts use another, etc. Well not really, but that'd be cool if I did it that way.

@SuchitraHaermm: Risk isn't on or off; the fact that "no one is safe" doesn't mean you should increase your risk without considering the consequences. I for one can't get over the idea of a third party compiling all my bank, credit cards, and investment accounts into one account on the interweb.

"boring world of virus killing"....I don't know about all that. The fact that I find Avast boring tells me that it's been doing its job extremely well. AV software is one thing that follows the "if it ain't broke don't tweak it" theory for me.

Wow. I downloaded this about two weeks ago and didn't think it was that big of a deal. I should be sending more stuff to LH!
