I just did this 3 days ago with a friends Juke.

I still miss the swaying grass.

Maybe they are confusing it with bits and bytes?

At current consumption: about 365 years according to US Geological Survey. 100 giga-factories like the one being built in Nevada: 2 or 3 decades.

No. But I have had a wayward can of coke explode because the seal between the cab and the engine was missing in a few places.

The front suspension, such as the wishbones, are works of art on these cars. Shame it’s hidden behind the rims...

A hundred and twelve degree afternoon in Phoenix where I-10 and I-17 meet. That damn U-Haul just stopped running. No issues beforehand and no warnings given. Right in one of the middle lanes. I caused a huge traffic jam.

I used to get coupons for a discounted oil change, etc., from my local toyota dealer.

I have no idea how that family of dealerships stays in business. They have ignored me, my wife, my father, 4 out of 5 lawyers my wife works with, half dozen doctors I work with, and least 7 of our family friends. Maybe you have to go to the right church....

I’ve bought a new corvette every 10 years since ‘86.....in white. My wife says it goes with the rest of my “habits”.

I love lack of available skilled labor complaints by corporations.

The officer was arrested for assault.

Wasn’t there some daytime talk show host that opened her box and all that was in it was the veil?

A good idea in theory, alas it comes with some huge issues that aren’t easy to mitigate.

The times style guide, within the last few years, says “them/they” is perfectly acceptable if the gender is unknown

A floor high beam switch. I miss the floor high beam switch.

A somewhat similar situation occurs with twin engine airplanes. They should be safer, but the human factor makes them less safe than the single engine variety in the civil flying world. Twins tend to be more expensive and come with better automatic engine controls lulling the pilot into a bit of complacency.

Ah, yes, the dirt belt. Corporate farms have killed them. Huge oligopolies didn’t help (4 beef wholesalers, one cotton seed seller, etc.) Good luck getting a fair price for your crops. As well as the mom&pop manufactures that don’t exist in any appreciable numbers anymore. From eastern Oregon to the stack of 2 degree
