Oh, that sounds like a great story. Gerdie's a gem, too.

There are a few space geeks over there. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that theme came up again.
Here is one: http://backtalk.kinja.com/shitty-questio…
Oh, on the Backtalk sub blog. We're featuring space this week so we had some good posts on it. Your comment got shared over there because it fits our theme. :)
Ew, ew, ew! We had two posts about space toilet this week. It doesn't seem like this guy did his research.
but Bumblecat is absolutely my favorite commenter in the history of all time.
Yes, I liked that too. That was my point, I didn't like that Veronica Mars was able to do so well while working seemingly as much as Buffy.
Veronica Mars! Angel!
That element always stood out to me as well.
I like your sister.
I know. Such a nice library too!
Exactly. I thought it would make much more sense if Veronica was also a mediocre student though. But I guess her job didn't have the physicality or the level of responsibility that Buffy's did. For me VM's perfectionism made her less relatable.
I felt like there were a fair amount of classroom scenes and homework scenes in both shows, but they always seemed to have so much time between classes, which I always thought was funny.
Wow. This is profoundly terrible. I just started re-watching Buffy yesterday so the comparison is especially jarring. I did like that line you noted though.
I can't bring myself to watch this. What a horrible person.
Did she ever. Such an incredible talent.
You know that's the soundtrack they hear in their heads.
I love this song so much. And one of the best things about Sunday nights is watching old Soul Train videos.
This made me gasp. Like a total dork. Thanks for that.
I first saw him on Six Feet Under and I liked him then. I haven't started watching The Leftovers yet. I didn't realize he was in it. My SO likes it. I read the book. (I'm sure you're thrilled to know.)
