"Face fade". That is interesting. It's funny because my hair has gotten less and less red and more blond as I age. I find I now wear lip tint more often because I feel colorless. It's interesting to hear you say that.

Oh, good to know. I used to color my hair often in my twenties but I stopped not long after I turned thirty because I was worried I might start to go really gray and not even realize it and I didn't want to color over gray. Now I'm 42 and it's been so long, I don't remember the ins and outs of how any of that works

That's what I think will be the hard part. The getting there. The in-between stage. In my mind I'm thinking that when they start to come in I might see if my stylist can add in some light streaks to showcase them more so that I don't feel the urge to cover them instead.
