Wouldn’t the temperature thing happen no matter what? Unless the offices all have individual thermostats (but I don’t think most do). Either way, the people in the rest of the office, whether there are cubicles or an open plan, would still have the same temp issue.

That’s weird—I traveled a couple of months ago and gate checked my bag, and it was right there after I got off plane. No need for baggage claim.

But if you gate check it, isn’t it right there when you get off the plane? Gate checking seems safer than having to find it at baggage claim.
