None of this seems awful to me. I see a lot of articles telling me that as a heterosexual woman I’m supposed to hate this kind of guy, but I dunno...I don’t understand. A lot of these sound like things I’d end up doing if I *were* a guy, too, to be honest...

I dunno, I think in the brains department, your friend and his girl were pretty evenly matched...
But what’s the alternative to that? No one is supposed to break off a relationship with anyone else? No one is supposed to continue a relationship with someone who’s broken up with a friend/family member? It just seems a little dramatic, all of that...especially if it was a casual relationship.

I think the worst story Ivanka relays is the one about the homeless man. Donald points at a homeless man on the street and says, “That man has $8 billion more than I have,” and Ivanka ends up talking about how proud she is that her parents got through the bankruptcy...blech.
But...doesn’t that assume most people identified with Tonya Harding? As I remember it, most people felt sympathy for/rooted for Nancy Kerrigan in the end, not for Tonya.
But then it’s not really the ad that’s sexist. It’s the mere existence of an anti-wrinkle/aging product, right?
