A monster? Did we watch the same series? I thought they did a great job of showing how conflicted she was—she loved her sister and wanted her to be happy, but at the same time we see the enormous stresses she’s under to uphold the institution.

But doesn’t context matter? Like, if you’re getting physically stroked by someone you love, that feels nice...but if some smelly homeless guy on the subway does it, no matter how objectively good it feels, it’s horrifying. That’s what I got out of this video. Pure horror. BURN IT.

They do? I never knew that. But also, can you, the layperson, make the judgment call of who is “near death” in the moment? I mean, if I saw someone get impaled by a bike/bleeding, I think I’d just call the ambulance and not think twice—you don’t really know how much blood they’re going to lose waiting.
