I remember watching Dumbo a lot as a kid, but when I went to rewatch it as a kid, I pretty much cried through the whole thing. I still really like it, but damn, it’s hard to sit through.

Or wondering if they were kidnapped at age 3 (looking at you, “Face on the Milk Carton” books!).
Actually, they don’t just kill male cubs. It’s any cubs (male or female) sired by another male lion.
My ears have never dripped with wax...Is that something that happens to everyone else? I wash my ears out in shower. And sometimes if the wax builds up, I use ear drops to soften them and flush it out. But dripping?
“You can tell when a guy is looking at you and thinking disgusting thoughts and porn has just made it 1000x worse.”
Amazing. That makes up for every bad Xmas song I’ve ever had to listen to.
Agreed. After all, after Columbine, it seems everyone was hyperaware of that kind of stuff—turning in kids to the guidance counselor office if creative writing assignments had violence, etc. It seems like becoming overly cautious, like this video seems to suggest we should be, is just as dumb. I’m not sure that there…
The amazing series Masters of Horror (and its episode “Homecoming,” directed by Joe Dante).
Can’t we have any TV shows about nonhorrible people? Like, just one, maybe?
Seconding the Mitchum roll on. (I didn’t actually know it was just for men when I was younger...but it works so well that I don’t even care.) Whenever I’ve tried to use women’s deodorant, it’s just been so ineffective. Mitchum all the way!
Plus, she’s dead. Even if teeth did grow, I doubt they’d continue to grow after she died!!!!!!!!!!
But people here say that being overweight doesn’t mean you’re eating tons of food. Why does being thin have to mean you’re constantly depriving yourself? I’ve never once been on a diet and the highest I’ve been is 112...I just don’t understand why women being thinner and still managing to eat what they like is so bad.
Yes, it sounds creepy and more than a little shady....
Do you have to exfoliate? I never do, and I’ve never noticed any problems. I think it’s one of those things that ad companies have convinced us we need to do.
Is it all that weird that she’s dated only white guys, though? I’m a nonwhite woman who has pretty much done that, and I don’t think it needs some huge explanation...maybe that’s just who she’s happened to have dated.
Wait, what’s wrong with “whip-smart” now?
The WSJ one seems addressed to men, but how is the WaPo one directed at men? “A Shocking Number of College Men Surveyed Admit Coercing a Partner into Sex.” What else should they have said?
