Apparently I still don’t know how to eat pasta—I’ve never used a spoon to spin the noodles.

Seconding (thirding? fourthing?!) the Natori love. I bought some last year, and they’re great. Need to go back for more.

Some places don’t let you use cards for less than a certain amount.

And they already had Hank Schrader on the show to be the perfect antagonist...

I dunno, I think in the brains department, your friend and his girl were pretty evenly matched...

But what’s the alternative to that? No one is supposed to break off a relationship with anyone else? No one is supposed to continue a relationship with someone who’s broken up with a friend/family member? It just seems a little dramatic, all of that...especially if it was a casual relationship.

...it is?!?!

Yes...more people need to think of Bebe Glaser, period!!!!

Strike that. Reverse it. I think America’s Next Top Model has to be there for Tyra to continue.

I think the worst story Ivanka relays is the one about the homeless man. Donald points at a homeless man on the street and says, “That man has $8 billion more than I have,” and Ivanka ends up talking about how proud she is that her parents got through the bankruptcy...blech.

But...doesn’t that assume most people identified with Tonya Harding? As I remember it, most people felt sympathy for/rooted for Nancy Kerrigan in the end, not for Tonya.

But then it’s not really the ad that’s sexist. It’s the mere existence of an anti-wrinkle/aging product, right?

Agreed. I was expecting a very different story after reading the headline.

Dullard? Wasn’t it sort of the opposite—Charles was the more academic/bookish, while Diana wasn’t as educated?

A monster? Did we watch the same series? I thought they did a great job of showing how conflicted she was—she loved her sister and wanted her to be happy, but at the same time we see the enormous stresses she’s under to uphold the institution.

But doesn’t context matter? Like, if you’re getting physically stroked by someone you love, that feels nice...but if some smelly homeless guy on the subway does it, no matter how objectively good it feels, it’s horrifying. That’s what I got out of this video. Pure horror. BURN IT.

I didn’t live through the 1970s, but I got that vibe, too. I found it horrifying on so many levels.

Are all women, though? I don’t think I’d know to do most of the stuff people are listing here. And I do tend to leave a lot of stuff around the house undone (I’m not the greatest about putting clothes away)...is it really more of a male/female thing and maybe more of a sort of lazy human thing? Or just not

Me too!

Gee, I thought the definition included something to do with the belief in equality between the sexes.
