The fact that from the pics in the article that the dealer sign has different fonts used in the signage, they may have already done so in the past, LOL

I hear Moldstar Gotors is available.

I really wish my Miata had been totalled out... I was already planning on upgrading to something with a little more V8, and now my trade is worth substantially less.

I am honestly surprised a Miata is considered a “specialist” vehicle in the first place. Not shitting on the Miata obviously but I would think a specialist vehicle would be something more exotic.

True, but at the same time you won’t even get it towed somewhere like if you can afford that truck you can afford a tow, unless for some reason insurance won’t let him tow it.

Wait, so this guy bought a Cybertruck and DOESN’T want attention?!

I’m sure it was just an honest mistake on his part as his entire job is to defraud people as much as possible.

he had a bunch of other cars stored there? was it a chop shop?

Was he Chopping Broccoli?

If you’re dumb enough to give Musk your money, I have zero sympathy for you.

So it was a Broccoli Rob-bery?

That was my thought, too. He clearly has enough money to go buy 20 acres somewhere and figure out how to do this without pissing everyone around him off.

My mom’s husband.

My mom’s husband..”Damn, that guy ain’t even considered a stepfather :>)

I mean, we know who’s in the wrong. Like it or not, the dad didn’t figure out if one was necessary and/or didn’t apply for a permit. Unsurprisingly, most villages/towns/cities don’t want you to install paved race tracks in your back yard. So they require you to get a permit. He didn’t do it, and built it anyway. Would

I think that’s really something that is highlighted when QA started to drop the ball - Tesla doesn’t have that extra chance to catch these things at the dealership. And the dealerships (as shitty as some are) generally want the pickup to go smoothly since it’s their final chance to ensure a good experience that brings

This is true, I also worked as a tech at a Ford dealer and we did a little thing called PDI-post delivery inspection.  After the cars were dropped off we had to go through a PDI checklist before they ended up on the lot.    The things you mentioned would get caught in the PDI before the ended up going out to the

Polish, wrap, PPF, tint, ceramic coat, etc. Common things for people to do delivery week of a new car

The Tesla Model 3 is 7-year old model, not a brand-new model, you’d expect they’d have learned how to build them by now.

Isn’t this Tesla just embracing the newfangled viral trend of raw-dogging it? Weather protection is for sissies, pfff...

I have one strict rule, whatever the brand. I never buy a brand new model (or a refresh model) in its first year. Too many headaches. True for any brand (not defending Tesla here btw).
