It’s just a Breaking Bad joke. Car washes are not even remotely cash businesses, even more so than 2011 when this was a criticism Saul Goodman said to Walt.

My former BIL lives in a HOA community that prohibits washing cars in your own driveway.

I was referring to laws in Australia, particularly New South Wales. The rules around breath tests and searching are similar to the US where you can refuse. However by not acquiescing you’re going to find yourself being dragged through the ringer by some pissed off cop who will be trying his hardest to pin something on

The beady-eyed headlights, the utter blankness of its fascia, the jowly flabbiness of its proportions...yup, I’d say the “stylist” was paying homage to Putin’s favorite bitch:

Obligatory:

My favorite one was when a suburban Boston cop told me “I thought your license plates were expired, but they’re not.”

Last time a pig asked me if i knew why he pulled me over i gave him the honest answer “because for the last 3 days you have been a half mile north of here, and today you caught me off guard” i got a laugh and a warning.

The answer would be-very politely I might add- No sir. I do notBut then again I was raised to show respect to authority figures. (I am over 60) If one just randomly peruses YouTube and see what law enforcement officers have to deal with on a daily basis one might understand how a small minority of LEOs might

Just you wait: somehow this will get twisted into “liberals not letting the police do their JERB.”

Now playing

This is really kind of moot point if you know your constitutional rights.

You must ride a sportbike!

Okay, no disagreement. But it negates my opportunity for witty answers:

They ought to already. Surely that is a prerequisite of their job, telling someone the reason they are being questioned? It seems like a really super fucking basic part of law enforcement. I bet cops are up in arms about having to meet the minimum requirements of their job.

There goes the only fun part of being pulled over. I love a good guessing game.

Yeah, they get mad when you try to use data on them. Likewise, huge fans of victim-blaming. Cyclist or pedestrian gets hit/killed by a driver and the comments usually are “They should have been more careful and praying for them”.

I would agree that it’s bullshit. I have a ‘22 Colorado and it requires you to have the phone on and working in CarPlay or Auto before you put the car in gear. (There’s other problems like volume level being turned off but that’s with the infotainment system itself.) So tinkering with the phone is not the problem -

I literally stared at the word for a good 20 seconds trying to figure out how to pronounce it.  That’s a really bad sign.

Even the name is peak GM. Ultifi is probably(?) meant to rhyme with wifi, so pronounced at ul-teh-fy. But I read it as ul-tee-fee and that’s a real great name guys, off to a great start.

Oh, yes. If there’s one company that can absolutely make an interface that is less buggy than Apple, it’s GM. Thank goodness we’ll be rid of that buggy mess that is carplay

God there is so much stupid flying around here.
