... unless you’re sight or hearing impaired. Good joke though.

I didn’t say my two purchases would “literally” move the market. That would be idiotic.

Your cars didn’t move anyone’s needle, your money is statistically meaningless ...

Also, I don’t doubt that the WRX is possibly in trouble in the future. I think some of those design changes are likely to accelerate that. I’m not arguing with you on that. Most younger drivers don’t like to drive, period. Not to mention a stick shift. And I can only buy so many cars before I’m dead, right?

So my point, which I guess I wasn’t making clearly, was that car markers do respond to people buying new cars and small manufacturers have a different calculation on that than larger car makers. Subaru is very, very small.

But your anecdotal story doesn’t move markets.

Yes.

Duct tape is amazing when pulling dog fur out of WRX upholstery.

It is known.

Could be, but my 54-year-old self bought one in 2019 new off the lot. It’s the car I couldn’t afford when I was younger, and it’s the car I want to drive.

I don’t know why everyone is angry at you for writing about your experience. You go to a place. They say they can do it. If they can’t, at least you get an interesting story, right?

This is interesting and reminds me of the story told in the book The Culture Code where a marketer was called in because Jeep sales were lagging.

I always learn the coolest stuff on this site. I’d never heard of this car before. Here comes a deep dive! Thanks, Torch!

Dude,

I don’t understand how the judge could have heard that and have come to the decision he did. Belter violated the terms of his temporary release already. Why does he think he’s going to do better?

The Buffalo News reported in August that this judge ordered reporters not to use Belter’s name even though it had been used for years in stories about the charges and the case.

There were parts that did seem to be edited. I’m sure it was for length and all, but it might have been too much. I think a lot of the impression of him as a freaked-out driver came from some edgy cutting and combining. Regardless, seems like a fair review to me, and it hasn’t turned me off of Tesla. I think that

Gross. You had to make me look that up, didn’t ya?

Man, I’m not sure that’s a valid comparative comparison. Do I really have to choose between those two? I mean can’t I just have aligned panels and not a fire hazard? Isn’t there some balance between that?

That’s not quite what the Cars.com post says. It says No. 1 and No. 3 for American built and American bought. That’s an important distinction.
