So in your way of thinking now if someone brings a used car in for an oil change to a dealer, the dealer could legitimately say, “Hey, this car is used, so we erased all the software from the car. If you want it put back in, you’ll need to re-license the software, otherwise, call a tow truck.”

You made my point, and before I even made it. There’s a lot of software in cars, and I’ve had my Subaru’s software updated at the dealership before.

Exactly.

So since my Subaru uses software to run the entertainment console, does that mean I need to ensure it’s properly licensed to the next person who buys my car?

Chikorita, you freak! You know she the best. Just admit it!

Yeah, I thought Kelly was referring to Mrs. Woodhouse’s accent, and if you have ever been to the South and spent time really talking to people beyond the “How y’all doin?” then you likely understand that there’s a mix of political opinions that aren’t just wholesale slathered over the region like Duke’s Mayonnaise.

He was exceptional in Black Klansman too.

I find this 100% normal. I have to do radio interviews every month as part of my job. I’m the only person being interviewed, and I work on making sure the information is relevant and interesting, but I have yet to hear myself.

Likely not something the doc evaluated, and ... perhaps he or she did say, “You shouldn’t be driving.” But unless that person wants to take that advice, the doc can’t inform their family unless that person has given permission for them too. Our medical privacy laws are strong, but man, I wish our other identity laws

Yeah, no kidding. The dispatcher was really taking on a liability issue if this driver had ended up injuring someone or worse. “Oh, it wasn’t drugs or alcohol, so I didn’t send a cop.” Maybe there are other ways to be impaired, and how does one know if one doesn’t send a cop?

Couldn’t they install a sensor that slows the car down (kind of like limp mode) if hands are not on the wheel? Seems like that would be a valid approach to ensuring someone is at least touching the controls of the car.

Bill Gates would agree.

This does seem like a big drawback, and I’d love to get an electric vehicle at some point, but the Superchargers aren’t the only places to charge your car, though, right? You can pay for commercial locations too or are there not many of those?

So many quarters ...

Ok, that was freaking cool!

You ain’t alone in thinking D3 is cool.

Regarding the mileage question, I recently bought a Subaru WRX that had to come from another dealer. That resulted in 457 miles being on the car, which the dealer was completely up front about, and I was cool with because I’ll put 20,000 on it in a year easily.

But did that make him a wolf?
