I mean, I understand why his views are awful and how they impact his job (I’ve been following his actions for months). I’m just surprised that people are surprised by his views in this essay. It’s been pretty clear from the get go that he’s vehemently anti-abortion and these “arguments” he made in the essay are pretty

OK, this is horrible, but it honestly doesn’t seem too far off from the standard pro-life position in this country? (As a former Catholic, a lot of Catholic people I knew in college had these exact talking points).

And the Catholic Church is wondering why younger people are leaving...

I hated, hated, hated fireworks when I was young. Some of my earliest, most visceral childhood memories are from being scared of fireworks on the 4th of July/baseball games/concerts, etc. I remember being way too old to be afraid of fireworks (like 8 or 9), but still being totally freaked out. Anyway, I’m cool with

A lot of my guy friends told me I was crazy on election night because through my sobs I was saying “they’re going to take away our healthcare, they’re going to take away Roe, they’re going to take away gay marriage.” This shit is real, this shit has consequences.

The drive from that part of WV to VA isn’t quick or easy. Who seriously makes the effort to drive hours with chicken poop in their car to throw at a restaurant?

All I want is a movie where Timothee Chalamet and Ezra Miller play brothers. Is that too much to ask?

If this wasn’t intentional (and I think it was), this was supremely stupid on her part.

The recording is so disturbing. It literally made me sick to my stomach and I’m trying to hold back tears at work. They need to release the names/photos of border patrol agents/ICE agents/any agents involved in this atrocity. They need to be held accountable for their actions.

OMG Marco. And Spinner. And Paige. And Liberty!!! I loooooved Degrassi and kind of got unexpectedly emotional when watching this video. Except I’m super bummed there’s no JT! I was hoping he could have been brought back from the dead for this.

No, but I’ll have to find it!

Ooooo, looks creepy, but good! I always find Domhnall Gleeson’s performances riveting.

On paper, I should not be attracted to Timmy: he is not my type physically and he’s super young. Yet whenever I see him, my heart flutters a little. I don’t get it.

OK, but this is a plotline straight out of Orange is the New Black, right?

I skipped to the beginning of season 2 after struggling through the first few episodes of season 1 and have loved the show ever since. There’s some major character growth and it becomes a lot more enjoyable overall. (Maybe read a few of the episode synopses on wikipedia to make sure you get the basic plot points from

I know! It was so dramatic! And I really wanted to see Todd as a dad. Sadness all around. :(

That was my first thought. I hope not :(

Ugh, I’m so bummed! I loved both Brooklyn 99 and Last Man on Earth (which admittedly had a not-so-great first season, but really picked up in season 2). Seeing less Andy Samberg/Chelsea Peretti/Stephanie Beatriz/Andre Braugher/Terry Crews/etc on TV makes me so sad :(

I love Otter Pops, they were a staple from my childhood, but is it true that they’re regional? When I lived with people from the Midwest, they looked at me like I was crazy when I talked about how delicious Otter Pops are and they insisted that I had made them up.

I majored in English in college and in one of my smaller, seminar-style classes we read Díaz’s The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. I did not like the book, and during discussion I talked about how hard it was to read the male characters in the book constantly objectifying the female characters. One of the guys in
