What in the fuck are you on about? I never read anywhere that you were a victim, you seem to have no sympathy or capacity to appreciate anyone else’s opinions on this (including stylists and other victims) and if you had any real, actual valid issues, they were buried under a thousand tonnes of raging, defensive

Is it too early to call it that this dude is going to be this decade’s Hitler? This guy truly scares me simply because the stupid media is giving him coverage. You’d think they’d have learned with Trump. Then again, who knows what the media wants these days. Maybe it’s all about White Power at this point in history.

Thank you — it’s a big problem that people still don’t think of domestic violence as a public health issue. That’s a fundamental thing, there. It’s like birth control in that regard; those who oppose all solutions to the problem are eager to dismiss it as a “private problem” or “distraction issue”, and refuse to

Based on the tone of your discourse here, I’m going to assume you’re the one doing the beating.

And the first thing an abused woman needs is to know that there are people out there who care about them, understand what they’re going through and are willing to help them... and if this training can educate even a few people to reach out to an abused woman and let them know all that... then what the fuck is wrong

As someone already said, if police officers are getting less training than hair stylists, that means that police aren’t being trained enough and not that stylists are being trained too much.

Eh. I spent 2 years in school and an additional year and a half in apprenticeship to become a funeral director. By the time you get to me the emergency has passed. Cops should have waaaaay more training then me.

So many people against training others to spot the signs of domestic abuse jumps out at me like a giant red flag. Nothing is mandatory for crying out loud.

Jesus Christ, why do I get the sense you don’t know shit about victims of domestic abuse. No one is treating them like a child. No one is examining them against their will. It feels like you’re exaggerating this simply to have something to get pissy and sarcastic about. Or your trolling for funsies.

You’re making a lot of assumptions that the stylists are terrible people who will just run around talking shit on their clients. Any decent person/smart business person won’t do something like that.

Doesn’t that say more about the police than it does about the barbers, though? Its not that barbers need less training, police just need more. I sure as hell want the person cutting my hair to have spent 1500 hours learning to not make me look any worse than I already do.

So, cutting and braiding hair has strict licensing and training requirements, but we elected a 70 year old who was never even potty trained as President?

“Today, the only people that lost are the children of St. Jude,” he wrote.

I guess the Trumps just giving that money to St. Jude’s is out of the question.

There is already fallout from his win unlike anything in modern history. Waves of racist graffitti and hate crimes. They are already out there doing violence. It won’t stop ever with them.

Violence is happening now even with their president-elect Trump. You are not going to stop the violence. That is going to keep growing either way. Pandora’s Box is already open.

Screw ‘em. The dems have take the high road for too long. Look at Republicans. Our election was hacked, Republicans are actively preventing voters from voting, and in some areas, they are even rewriting the laws so that newly elected democrats don’t have power (NC). The time for being nice and playing by the rules is

What’s the point of even having electors if they can’t do the thing that their role was designed to do? Their purpose is to act as a check on the people.

Holllllly Moly how much peroxide is in that picture
