I really think that the nostalgia fog breaks at some point when you’re playing things you wouldn’t have thought were possible as a kid and also you just eventually figure out what you really like. I’m 44 and my favorite Zelda is BOTW, in fact it’s one of my favorite games. Link Between Worlds is probably second.
